So gorgeous! That one Philo with the red petioles and emerging leaves. 😍 Bring that one to the houseplant market and the girls will go crazy. Just goes to show how many species are out there that we have no idea about. Thanks for being brave for us because there ain’t no way I’d be going on private property in South (Central?) America. 😂

@@smajliiicka no they weren't they're just saying that if you brought that plant species to market people would go wild for it because of its coloration.

Next time you’ll need to spend some more time up there, many different hiking trails to discover! Thanks for sharing all the images with me and thank you for mentioning me in the video 🌿🥳 I had loads of fun identifying all the plants :)

I like your travel/aroids videos, especially when I turn the audio off with subtitles only 🙂. Is it necessary to jerk the camera so much?
@plantgayforlife6 ай бұрын
Well my friend, while you watch the video from the comfort of your home, I was traveling down a densely vegetated slope at a 45 degree angle, swatting away massive dragon flies and biting bugs, and trying to avoid walking into the webs of giant spiders the size of my hand. My camera is not high tech and isn’t going to give you discovery channel quality. I’m just an enthusiastic hobbyist.

Love it Jake... that wendlingeri reveal was masterful. And the shakey cam gives me Blair Witch vibes. 🧙♀ Jokes!, I swear It was awesome. So I spent 2 weeks in Panama City with my wife back in 2011 (pre-kids, haha 🥲), well before I got into the plant hobby. and I absolutely regret not spending more time looking at the flora, literally every day now... this was the ULTIMATE REMINDER. I may need to make a trip back just so I don't feel so stupid about it. 😝

Honestly fccc these fancy cameras cuz they are so damn shaky compared to iPhones. But the image quality is better. Yes definitely go back to Panama and stay at Gamboa! Highly recommend! Trails nearby, an animal sanctuary, beautiful views, great tours and activities!
