IMO, an incredible mid is Dawnbreaker atm. Powerful lane presence with a good amount of damage that transitions into super fast ganks and map presence. Your pos 1 and pos 5 are out of position and will die soon? You ult there, use the heal/stun to turn the tide, get a double kill, go back mid to farm some more. Brace > bottle (optional)>phase boots> echo saber> deso> harpoon> then items based on enemy and friendly compositions so that you fill any empty nieche or counter any strenght the enemy has. Dawnbreaker and Bane are mids people sleep on FR.

i still use bane mid he is stronger than ever max 1 and 3, buy vessel, he can pretty much solo kill any hero early to mid game and still being useful with the aghs at late game.
