I found the BEST SPOTS to catch a 20 + LBS BAG on Lake Murray! (Practice MLF Stage Three)

Lake Murray is INCREDIBLE! It was a lof of fun catching and locating a lot of BIG BASS and even stripers in practice. There's a lot of ways to fish this lake from fishing points to sight fishing docks and the tough part is picking which one to do! Watch the video to see how I caught them in practice.

What were the specs on the bait cast rod you used for flukes? I always use spinning for weightless so going to mix it up!

I throw a 7’3” MH Fantasista with 12# trilene 100%. If you go up in line you start losing distance of cast and action of the bait.

Abu Garcia 7’3” MH Fantasista with 12# trilene 100%! The longer rod helps with casting since it’s a pretty light bait.

Do you ever go back through an area that was unproductive with a different technique to make sure it wasn't just that first lure or presentation that was unproductive?

Man good question! If I see the right things I sure do. I have learned over the years fishing tidal fisheries especially you can fish through the winning area or the best area on the wrong tide or time of day and not get bit. If it matches the pattern I’m on or if I’m seeing life, (bait, birds, fish) I sure will!
