I love tacos. I live in California and have visited Mexico many times. In my opinion street tacos found in CA are best in the world. These are made with small soft tortillas, cilantro, cabbage, onion, meat (carne asada, lingua, cabeza or tripas or beef, tongue, head meat, intestine). You will either get a green (tomatillo) sauce or red(dry red chili) sauce and roasted jalapeno and some limes and radishes on the side.

An authentic taco consists of a corn tortilla, protein of your choice, onions and cilantro then you pour salsa of your choice on top, usually either verde or roja. Some tacos like al pastor does get topped with grilled pineapple. Most of the tacos your showed were tex-mex. More American than real Mexican taco. Btw other South American countries do their own variation of tacos as well, but taco is a Mexican food.

I bet authentic Mexican tacos would not be that tasty for our tastebuds. I prefer fusion ones and Dhaka eateries doing a great job on tacos. All the tacos she showed on this blog were truly yummy. Al pastor sounds yummy with the grilled pineapples on it. I am not a big taco fan but dhaka ones again are yummmy. In the US, I can’t eat the ones with Pollo (chicken) or Carne (beef) as they are not halal. Tacos actually good with meat. Shrimp is not bad. Inshaa Allah, will try Dhaka ones in the future. Maybe, will go together with “Khuda Lagse” couple. I was born in Dhaka but parents from Sylhet. 😊❤️🇧🇩🇺🇸

tried taltibaaz and lola and i have to say lola is better, they give more stuffings, environment is better, they give amazing sauce and all of this for the same price as taltibaaz.

First of all, you need to look at the tortilla. American tacos use flour tortillas or crispy, hard-shelled corn tortillas. You'll find that authentic Mexican tacos use soft corn tortillas as the wrapper.

I have had a lot of mexican food in Florida. El Toro is the closest one like actually mexican restaurant tacos. Even the plate and serving style. Mexican restaurants exactly serves beans, rice and salads this way.

The way you all time appreciate El toro isn’t worthy enough. I went there after seeing your Nachos,Tacos review at 2nd August. Their Nachos was disgusting, I couldn’t get any taste from it . They made me so disappointed.Nachos was overpriced but the taste wasn’t as high as the price. I guess they maybe serve all the good tasted foods when only you foodvloggers go to their restaurant. El toro isn’t worthy enough to go. Pls Don’t recommend El toro!! Going to El toro means only wasting your money on tasteless foods.
