13 has better recruiting but has some gameplay bugs. 14 is awesome but the A.I. keeping the game unrealistically close is a game breaker. 12 feels the most balanced and the grass looks great.

Man Ive been playing 12 recently and the corners and linebackers just shift to where the ball is and make plays like they're superheroes and pass interference never gets called and its on about every play and the wrs are not aggressive enough. The cbs be playing more like wrs and the receiver won't go for the ball most of the time. All of that is on all-american and hof

Change qb accuracy to 80 for user, 75 for cpu, change wr catching to 70 for both cpu/user, change pass coverage to 55 for both cpu/user, change interceptions to 15 for both cpu/user, change pass rush to zero for both cpu/user, change pass blocking to 100 for both cpu/user, change offensive and defensive Pass interference to 51 or 52. This game had good defense with good defensive playbooks. Double slots and double outs for example, which was taking out in '13 & '14.

This style of recruiting was my favorite. It was so rewarding to put an hour plus into a 5* and get their interest. You could shoot yourself in the foot too by pitching something they didnt like.

I think the NCAA 11 intro on ps3/xbox 360 is the best, but NCAA 12 also has a great intro. NCAA 11 is my favorite but 12 might be the one to go back to with the added features, especially after playing 14.

I’ve only played 10 and I freaking loved how much control you had of a player. They would actually do the move instantly unlike todays madden where it feels like your on ice or everything is so pre determined. I would have awesome games using a safety.

It may just be me but I’ve went back to 12 recently and it’s made me realize how 14 was the start of a downward trend ( I like 14 but let’s be honest it’s popularity is solely because it was the last). I’m starting my 3rd season in a dynasty and can honestly say I’ve had like 3 games that felt easy the rest were dogfights which I love I can’t get that feeling in Ncaa 14 anymore

They games intros made these games so much better. 14 felt so disconnected when they took them out. Also miss players warming up on the field. Player pre game call outs should change based on who has the star under them and who’s hot

Hands down my favorite NCAA for PS3 Xbox 360 era. Currently on a 18 season dynasty (3 months irl) playing 6-8 games per season. Temple (DC) 4 years North Carolina (DC) 5 years Syracuse (HC) 6 years Ohio St (DC) 2 years and just started year 3 with a L to Boston College 7-13 :( Recruiting is dynamic and interesting, but presentation is great and captures atmosphere well (though limited in comparison to older Gen) The real difference IMO is the gameplay, NCAA 14 has so much cheesable plays and gets repetitive. NCAA 12 AI can really throw some curve balls on you when you’re the DC.

People say ncaa 14 was the best but it was so lazy compared to 12-13. Had to grind on the recruiting trail and winning with a non P5 school out the gate was tough, 14 can instantly win big. Coaching tree was silly as well for 14. I enjoy 10,12, & 13 the most.

If this game could’ve had a Revamped mod, I would never need another college football game. The only knock I’ll give this is running from shotgun is not smooth at all and takes quite a bit of slider work. Other than that, this is an outstanding game.

The gameplay of this game, particularly in-game simulation, was unmatched. I don’t like the recruiting though-there was no scouting, no mystery, and it took too much time (though that last one applies to every 360-era NCAA Football game except for 14).

One major flaw in this game was a A. I. glitch were at the snap my whole defensive line would run to the sideline like the game was over letting the other team make an amazing play.. this happened to me at least once sometimes multiple times in one game.. it happened at a crucial time in one of my dynasty games and i was done.

This is revisionist history. NCAA 14 recruiting was actually created by scouts, players, and people in the know in recruiting. That is why it was switched to the system we had. The call system from 12 definitely is more engaging, but they simplified the system based off industry recommendations.

I just recently started playing this game for the first time and it’s a buggy mess… I’ve had AI defenders quite literally clip through my receiver to break up a pass, and I’ve had an AI linebacker teleport to the ball mid air. On top of that, the game loves to freeze for no reason after every few games in dynasty which is super fun after pulling off a big victory and then the game bugs out and you can’t get back to the main menu and then have to replay the game you just played… Never had any of these issues with 11, 13, or 14 When the game functions properly, it is one of the best NCAA games, but the freezing in Dynasty almost makes this game unplayable for me.

I don't have a current gen console I only have my 360 and I did a lot of research before I bought this game. From what I read this is the best one especially for the franchise mode. And even if 14 is better there's no way I'm paying over $100 for a video game when I got these games for under $20 for both. I exported my first class into Madden 12 and I'm playing that now and I don't think that it's that bad of a game especially from what I've seen out of the new ones. All that matters is if the game is fun to you and you've got to remember a lot of the comments in the forums are from guys that play online and are at the top of the game.

If you take the sentimental value out of it, 14 wasn’t all that good. Sure the graphics are slightly better with a convenient recruiting system, but it doesn’t make up for the lack of atmosphere in the game. IMO the college atmosphere plays the biggest role. We already know it’s a re-skinned version of Madden, but seeing Osceola and Renegade slam that burning spear midfield makes us forget that. I hope EA sports makes up for the failures in NCAA 14😭
