About three years ago I made a post on Instagram offering to DM 5e for anyone that was interested because my previous party had split up after leaving college. I was quickly approached by an old highschool friend, Jack, who said he had a group gathered, I was welcome to come and meet everyone and decide if we all got on well. Jack was always very sweet in highschool, so I agreed and we all met at his flat that weekend to play a few non dnd related games together and get pizza... that's when it all began.

If I was in the the first Dungeon Master’s position, I would have acted like nothing happened until the session starts. After that, I would drop the party into a monotonous, and hilariously deadly combat encounter. I would kill off all of their characters, no matter how long it takes. After this, I would pack up my things and leave without saying a single word.

1st thing happened to a girl in my college. A group of guys who were friends with each other started flirting with her one after another. I tried to tell her that's something seriously wrong coz guys from the same circle hitting on someone one after another is not a good sign of their intentions It backfired severely as she told them that i knew what they were doing. They all started acting friendly to her didn't flirt at all after that day and ignored her completely And i ended up being the bad guy lmfaoooo Edit:- i saw those guys pointing and making comments on the girls in our college in a really weird way for some time so i really knew what was going on

my experience with playing with girls at the table with a male DM is pretty mixed. it helps a lot if ppl aren't single, obviously, but if the girl is single then it can get weird... especially if she's attractive. one of my players who is a woman in her early 30's has a go-to: when a guy starts getting flirty, she starts talking about her 3 kids. she doesn't have kids, but she's also a DM so she has pretty elaborate backstories for these 3 kiddos. As a DM I don't mind my players getting frisky with NPCs, but I never allow any graphic explanation of activities. just like: yep, you got laid. roll for pregnancy (jk).

3:15 it would have been hilarious if she just removed all the female NPCs and replaced them with guys. Guys in drag, gay guys, muscle bros, lol. 13:45 I had something like that happen, I was invited to a 5e game by my discord friend. And I was like "Hell yeah, I'll play." (I DMed a short 3.5e game for six weeks, one of the players in the group was my friend, the rest were his friends and were strangers to me.) We met, and I asked who the DM was, and I came to find out that I was going to be the DM. I was kinda pissed and annoyed that they invited me to a "game" that I had to run. Instead of 5e, we played Call of Cthulhu, because it was a game I actually knew how to play. The game didn't go on too long because I found it difficult to play with strangers, and I think they all were fairly disappointed to not play D&D 5e.

About the first history, I feel seek about all that, especially when we all know where this generally scale after. I do know some histories that I've read, and some people that said a bunch of similar things. The golden rule is: If after the game session there's a little party, Be careful and try to not relax too much to the point of drink until lose control of yourself.

So...I started dating my now husband of 23 years, and he invited me to join a Rifts game he was running, which of course I did. I had never played Rifts (or even heard of it), but I had been playing Dungeons and Dragons since I was 12 and figured it wouldn't be that hard to learn a new rule system. It wasn't, but somehow the guys at the table apparently could only hear the first part of the sentence and were trying to be overly helpful and constantly trying to tell me what I could do, which was pretty annoying because it wasn't what I could do in these rules, but in rpg's in general. Which I had been playing for years. Where it got really weird and uncomfortable fast was this one guy playing a female character, and going on about how strait she was, but seriously heavily hitting on my also female character. The projection was so clear it was painful despite the face that my boyfriend was sitting right there. When he started trying to come over every time my boyfriend wasn't home to 'help me understand the game better and plan our characters arc together" I pulled the plug on that immediately. It never got better with that one guy, but the rest apologized and admitted I'd been the first female gamer they'd played with and that guy was cut out and I'm still friends with the others now.

I had a friend who was flirted with by some guy for weeks in dnd sessions, now neither me nor my friend noticed the guy was actually flirting and not just being friendly. Until one day he straight up confessed his feelings in the middle of a session, now me and my friend were very confused, see as far as we knew before this the guy was straight as an arrow, so I just asked him "since when are you gay?", now he was confused and said "I'm not gay, what on earth would make you think that?!?", "well you just confessed to [friend]"... It was at this moment all 3 of us came to a realization, me and my friend realized the guy had thought my friend was a girl... he was not, he was 100% a male, which was what the guy just realized, he was embarrassed, but we all laughed it off. My friend had softer features in his face, and liked to wear his hair long, and his name was Sam, which the guy had thought was short for Samantha, it was actually short for Samuel, so it was really just a bunch of coincidences that lined up, I was friends with Sam since we were kids so it never really occurred to me that his look was a bit confusing for those who didn't know him.

Me and my friends used to play dungeons and dragons and one of my friends was a bard and flirted and seduced anything that he could. In a tavern: Seduce In a fight against God: Seduce Any chance he got to seduce he would it was so stupid but funny because if he ever tried anything else he'd roll a 1-12 but when he tried to seduce it'd always be 19 or 20 to where my other friend the dungeon master said in certain situations "now we are currently surrounded by trolls that have no want to stupid bards trying to seduce them"

I don't play either but from my understanding it's like a role playing board game but the game master explains, narrates, set the rules, provides options for what to do, etc and everyone comes up with their own characters and they make choices based on the game masters stories and whatnot. However these games are normally lengthy so people play it over several weeks, hence the sessions. I hope that explains it.

I’ve Dungeon mastered (DM) a few times a play regular. Essentially a DM crates a outline of an adventure for the group to play, the group then rolls dice to see if they succeed in attacking enemies or making various checks. A session is essentially the time the group meets for a game. The game itself can either be a lot of fun or incredibly toxic depending on the players, as the game gives you total freedom to do more or less whatever you want.

A session is one play meeting, usually a few hours (you can imagine it as being an episode of a series, or a movie in a trilogy). A one-shot is a campaign made of a single session.

Story 1:what happened to Jake? Story 2: aww.. but yes needs are weird. They confuse liking someone for LIKING SOMEONE. Story 3: dnd is a group Story telling. The offending player had their shot. The dm is not the jerk... but he could have just killed her off. Or used that as a way to remove that character all together. I'm interested in where the player thought that imp thing was gonna go... I can think k of several ways that character could have gotten what they wanted.... without actually giving them what they wanted. Like.... monkeys paw level of twist. OK. Each one of the imps enters... you... make a wisdom save.... failed. You are now possessed by 5 imps which all fight for control... you want to stand up... concentration check... walk forward. Concentration check. Tell the group what happend. Concentration check... uncontrolled movement and the birth of a new bbeg...
