Might be something new going on at revs. I been doing hounds and bots would be in combat with a rev. Theyd get hit or be hitting a rev and as soon as a person with power gear comes skulled sometimes they log out mid combat, even mid attack animation they just log and disappear as if they weren't just in combat. I been doing them 5 days now again and this time only 1 day I saw 3 different accounts do it. At first I thought maybe I didn't see it right the second time I thought maybe it's a glitch that randomly happens then when thinking about the first 2 another guy get tele blocked after he hits a rev hound and just logs out after tele blocked. I now think there's something else going on that I'm not aware of but man would t be useful for when pkers come trying to crash me.

I have a feeling that scripts are just getting way better and hard to detect. I imagine these guys work with chat GPT to do 95% of their super advanced script, then they fill in the blanks and patch it up to get it to function.

Runescape will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart, and I've seen a TON of crazy happenings in the economy, EOC and Oldschool. But I have to admit, I find it very funny how a lot of times recently, a major market crash like this is nothing more than two dudes who just don't like each other. I received a perm macro ban on my 2200 total ironman with over 5k hours on it a couple years ago, appeal was instantly denied. Luckily the ban was quashed a couple weeks later. Jagex really needs to make sure these things don't happen.

About the slayer bots, they are definitely gargoyle bots. You can go to the upper floor in the morytania slayer tower and kill them off task. It looks like they get close to 99 str and then put on full guthans and do a shared attack style. With guthans the bots can stay for a 16 hour trip, never die, and all drops are alchable or noted. You can also reset the auto attack timer by running from one side of the room to the other. I used to use this strat with my second account while playing the main as it’s very afk and can net around 1.5-2m an hour.

I really wish Jagex would do something about fishing bots. At anglers there's perhaps 1-5 real people a world and usually far more just pure bots, which could be spotted in seconds.

@@haytamhaytam7227 Thats not what he was saying. Anyone can pretend they were falsely banned. Also bans arent automated. They get flagged automatically and then a mod manually makes the ban. The only reason he would of been perma banned is because the guy that he sold the axe too was real world trading and he got caught in the crossfire. If he appealed this and got unbanned it will be a false ban and does happen, if not there is usually a reason.

The false ban stuff is scary. I got a 2 day ban for botting while I was hopping through worlds pking bots in the revenant caves. The appeal was denied and now I'm another false ban away from it getting permabanned. I heard somewhere that world hopping a lot can trigger their bot detection

@@jmd489 I mean on the topic of world hopping... I play an ironman. I've spent hours world hopping to buy cosmic runes, nature runes, and battlestaves. Battlestaves because I was in a crafting grind and my plan was make fire battlestaves and high alch them. I got my battlestaves at 5 per world from the lunar isle magic shop. Granted this was a couple of years ago... I never got any ban or anything like that. Sure there is some details that maybe makes me look less like a bot but... World hopping alone definitely doesn't cause banning. It's a literal part of OSRS. In addition... Bot bans tend to happen in waves because if it wasn't done in waves, then bot makers can quickly test their bots and figure out what triggers the systems and what doesn't. Ban waves happen at points after the system was triggered. That adds a lot of variables to figuring out "why was the bot banned". So, this Eric guy may have been banned while world hopping. But it could easily be that they botted last week, and it triggered the system and then a small ban wave happened later. Ultimately, sure false bans do happen, but the real question is how often? I mean this is the internet. People will lie over the stupidest most pointless things. People who are bot not exactly honest people. For the record, having played for a few years before RS3, maybe a year in RS3, and a few years in OSRS. Having like 4 or 5 characters overall. I've never been flagged for anything serious. The worse I've had is when I said some stupid stuff as a young child and was getting close to be verbal/text chat restrictions.

I've got a near maxed UIM mate who caught a macroing perm for footpedal thieving, which is explicitly allowed... and of course appeals are almost immediately denied, even when he did it on stream while playing other games in a window off to the side fairly regularly. False bans remain a huge issue in the game.

Today I have my main locked minutes after my last login with 20b+ bank, and it's forcing me to recover account and appeals are all getting auto denied within a minute. I have found a way to contact player support, but am not optimistic they can help me.

Bots are a huge reason why I've been enjoying group ironman with my friends so much. I don't need to worry about prices crashing or gp / hr. It's all just about what the items can provide me.

you also dont need to worry about gp/hr as a main account if you dont want to. Nothing forces you to do optimal gp activities. Go for collection logs instead or whatever you want. Only thing ironman does is stop you from progressing if you get bad rng and need specific boss drops to progress, mains have rng protection as every kill = gp which you can eventually grind up enough to buy the item. Mains are just ironmen with rng protection, win win situation.

My friend "MrbigCahones" came back after a 3-month break and his account was perm banned unappealable (hacked we think, never saw the account or stats to know what happened). He was just about to finish the quest cape and start learning raids. He quit runescape in a rage after trying to reach jagex through email / twitter with nothing but mockery from people accusing him of being guilty. Pretty sad and a huge waste of his time. He vowed to never play a Jagex game again and I lost a good friend to play the game with. This was probably 6-months ago and I hope one day he can play again : /...

Tbh im sure they didint catch all the items that were duped when several different dupes were going on im sure some items are still being held and slowly sold off tbh thats prolly why some items were being sold for 1gp each unless thats been confirmed from another reason and even maybe when some of the ways when some of the dupes happend there was some people that accidently had items duped and who knows if theres even other stuff that the mass people dont know about even like the lms smuggling items bug when it first came out and the items in lms had the same price as the item outside of lms but then they was changed to be worth little gp they did that because they wanted to fix people smuggling items out but didint know of all the ways people could do it it or like shortly after corp was added there was that gaul unlim spec bug and a no dmg taken bug and ely dropped more in gp then than i think it ever has lol or the barb assult smuggling bug that went un detected for years or a year or somthin

when classic was reopened for the last time i created 5 fresh accounts and bought p2p for all just so i can login to classic and have multiple different lvl 3s to make accounts with, fast forward few months and i try to start making a staker account and boom all 5 accounts were banned for "account hijacking" and no way to get them back :D im not mad tho no system is perfect i just wish jagex had a proper customer support system in place for such cases :D

World 426 mount karuulm slayer slayer dungeon in the wyrms section, there was a a player that was had on a set of robes and a staff I have never seen before. I right clicked him and nothing came up it just said walk here. What stops a bot farm from creating PK bots that kill their other bots to essentially launder their money? or even just manually PKing their own bots so it looks like theyre doing exactly what youre doing?

I actually quit recently because of a RWT warning. It's my childhood account and the anticheat team swears I was selling GP. Total bullshit. Yeah it was just a warning but they left at the bottom that "If I continued the behavior it would result in an unappealable ban". Now If I was guilty I would accept the warning and move on. However I genuinely have never sold GP. Their cheat team is such a joke.

@lfgang9994 Sure he only uses 200 logged in at a time. But with 100k OSRS players inline at any given moment. Simply having 100 people like "G" will make up 20% of the inline base right there. And that's if only 100 bot farm owners are running at that time.
