At $36 a lb.?! I don't think so. Farmers complain so much about the middleman taking all their profits and making the cost too high, but then, as soon as they get a chance to sell it on their own, they charge $36 a lb. They're just as greedy as the middlemen. I'll continue to buy at Costco. It's not grass-fed, but it's better than not eating it at all.

The meat industry needs more of these small scale butcher shops. They know how to value add and they are the best educators to consumers. My grandpa believed one of the reasons people don't eat organs, soup bones, mature beef, lamb or mutton anymore is because they have no education on how to prepare those meats.

My non stop insatiable hunger has gone which of course has been the reason for my obesity. Changed to meat, dairy, eggs, fruit and raw honey. Eating around 2100 calories a day which is at least on average 500 more a day than what used to be normal non binge days of eating. I thought for sure I would put on weight with such a large extra number of calories. But Paul is right, it is the quality of the food that makes the difference. After a month I have lost 2 kg. The mind boggles as to what chemicals were effecting my feeling of continued starvation because I don’t have any cravings and feel so full after eating now. Because I am eating a decent amount of food I have had the energy to boogie board for an hour everyday and am drawn to spending more time on the beach in that peaceful beautiful environment. Waking for sunrises and back down there for sunsets and sleeping so deeply. It’s just amazing how happy and satisfied and energetic I am with life all of a sudden and how much I love each meal.

I’d get ahold of the raw milk people. Somebody has to know somebody.

Price is going to vary from place to place. I've found that buying cuts from individual ranchers is usually cheaper than a lot of butcher shops if you shop around. What is even more budget friendly and more sustainable is to buy a 1/4, 1/2, or whole beef if you've found a farmer that has meat that you like eating. You do save a fair amount of money, though the savings is more if you take all of the organs, fat, and bones and utilize them fully. In general, the prime cuts like Ribeye, New York strip, and sirloin are going to be quite a bit more expensive than the rest of the cow due to how little there is in comparison to the whole side. Just to put it in perspective, the Ribeyes from my ~275lb finished weight side of beef came out to be 22 lbs, or right around 8%. A lot more of your cow is going to be round or chuck, a lot of which will get ground up because it can't get nicely cut into a steak or a roast.

Excellent video. There are numerous reasons why we harvest more steers. You want cows to continue the herd. You only need one bull per so many cows. Then we can grow them quicker. Our last few grass fed grass finished steers were huge but we have noticed the flavor is not the same as some of our older cows (as in females who have been bred.) Plus you can bulk up a steer really fast. We do primal lifestyle so our family eats 5 bovines a year. Been at this for a decade or so and help others now too. It’s a lifestyle choice because it doesn’t pay ANY bills. Ha ha.

I now save the fat from TWO CUTS of brisket prior to rendering it into TALLOW. I LIKE the tip about the ORANGE COLOUR of the GRASS FED BEEF...which makes sense in that the eggs of PASTURED CHICKENS are LIKEWISE orange. I know this from my CHILDHOOD on a HOBBY FARM. OUR EGGS were harvested from our chickens who througout the day RAN FREE on the 7.35 ACRES. The beef cows were GRASS FED (and she finished them with A FEW MEALS of OATS (NO GLYSOPHATES) with APPLE CIDER VINEGAR added. Our cows were NOT BUTCHERED as 2 year olds...and we PLAYED WITH THEM...and we played with ALL OUR ANIMALS. RAW MILK. GARDEN RAISED FRUIT & VEG. MEAT HUNG for a LONG TIME. SUCH a WONderful HEALTHY childhood.

A part of the population buys meat at the supermarket but, a big part support a local meat production. Good quality and lower impact on the planet. In term of mentality as well in Europe, we love our local smaller Market for fruits as well or vegetables. Not for all the people for sur but still for a big part. I buy from a local farmer. Same price as the stores. Grass fed beef too. 10 per pound and it's very good quality. You should check with local farms

His ground beef is $8/pound, which is pretty affordable considering the quality. Grass fed beef at Walmart is $5-6/pound but far from the quality of this one…

In a word, DAO. So putrifucation means super high histamine which is very bad for those with histamine resistance 😢, a partner to insulin resistance and inflammation in humans. But what an awesome butcher❤

I'm all for high quality meats, but the major obstacle for people is price. Majority of people can't afford $36.99 a pound for a steak. That's crazy. We have to find a way to get the cost of this meat down. That's what I hope RFK JR can accomplish while he's head of HHS. Everyone wants healthy food, but it's insanely expensive.

Look into flap steak. That’s what I buy, same price as chuck. Got enough fat without being fatty. You gotta get it from a butcher though.

i thought Magnetic Aura was just another self-help trend till i saw how it’s lowkey transformed my friends-like they’re way more grounded, confident, and people just wanna be around them. it’s not fake or try-hard, they just seem real and magnetic now. it’s tricky to find tho, gets taken down quick, but worth hunting for

@@miguelpadilla31That is usually the going price for grass fed raw milk. In the Bay Area people sell pasture raised organic fed chicken eggs for $13 to $15 a dozen.

you ever meet someone who just has this natural vibe, like they’re on a different level? i found out most of my friends like that all read Magnetic Aura and they swear it’s not about pretending, just being real and not letting negativity drag you down. it’s wild how hard it is to get tho, keeps disappearing everywhere, but maybe that’s what makes it worth it
