Been to that same rock spot, used to live in Lane Cove. Only lived there 6 months.... ( rent went from $400 p/w to $750....within 6 months so i bailed. Sydney is F'd with the rent prices at the moment) but besides this. Looks like a prime spot for jewies. i only fished it on a low tides, couple flatty. flicking plastics.paddle tail mullet clear minniow bait soft plastics soft vibs. Couple of flatties but no JEW!~! :) well done mate ( fish that spot on a high tide me thinks)

Cheers for the comment mate, I shall try again on the high, in the future then and skip the low. Mate it's ridiculous, I feel like the government is trying to send everyone homeless... We are moving towards a third world country, more waterways copping "recycled" water (during big rain events they flush raw sewage) people left unable to pay for food, bills, rent and mortgages... I don't think good things are to come unfortunately. Just trying to enjoy my life as much as possible, while I can still afford that hahaha... Well at least you managed a few fish mate, always better than nothing, if it was the warmer months, they were probably vacant from the system, at the time... They are definitely known as a winter fish 👍 Cheers mate, lots of days and hours went into this fish... I definitely prefer this spot, as a Jewfish looking location, than where I first tried.

caught a 1m jew on 2.5inch grub on LCNP river with a 2500 reel. good fun! that spot has a few holes

@@bushfishncook2128 always got to go back to a bigger one! My first ever cod was only 40cm so when we get to Toowoomba and I can go cod fishing hopefully I can get a bigger one! Big fish are sure fun on light gear! Me first cod was on 4lb line in the channel… on a strike tiger softplastic curl tail grub! I thought it was a nice reddie!

I just got home and now about to watch Aaron's video myself 👍 Going to be tough down your end for a while again, after this rain I reckon... Need a good week or two again, making for a tough winter with all this rain... I mean I'm still catching fish but I have noticed the sambos weren't as thick this year and Jewfish are closer to the ocean so far this year, from what I have seen...

@F11sh-f2h Sydney barometric pressure app its for iPhone I believe, so I use it via google... Just type barometric pressure Sydney, it should be at the top 👍 Best of luck mate, overcast is definitely the best or even slightly rain, they usually prefer cold weather, so I was surprised to do so well this afternoon... A rise in pressure throughout the day is always good but a sudden jump in pressure, is really good.I like a jump in pressure from say 1016 to 1024or1026...
