The leaf armour is mainly useful for stealth in the forest if you want to travel without being seen.

To boil the water, you have to click the cog on the side of the pot. You can add other stuff to the water too to make soups with cool powerups. Add 2 arms, 2 legs and a head to make "greg stew". Its really good for food, water, and multiple powerups. Enjoyed the video, thanks!

Loves this series bro cut the wood into small pieces then fire wood don't use sticks unless you starting then add fire wood and the pot you need to go into the recipe and it will say boil and put lid on pot and the water will boil

Unfortunately the blind mutants no longer count for skinning. Fingers(the "mouth guy") is one of the easier mutants which you can skin as they fall if you hit their leg. Also, you need to activate the pot to boil water. It shows a gear icon when you interact with it and there are recipe options as well. 30:29

Sorry for the long comment. I'm enjoying your play style in this game. I really hope you continue with the non-aggressive stance towards the natives as long as possible. Be aware that some of the natives will come to steel a log or two, but they take mostly from logs you leave laying on the ground, and they simply drag the log away and leave you and your base structure alone. Food will disappear off your outdoor drying racks but that seems to be the racoons doing that. - The talk around the comments is that the guy that knocked you out at the beginning of the game is the one flying the helicopter and that he can send the mutants to attack you. The *mutants only want to kill you - you MUST fight* (or trap) *them.* - Remember that the cannibals hate the mutants as much as you do. If a cannibal shows up while you are fighting a mutant, resist the urge to attack the cannibal and see if he will help you fight off the mutant. I've seen this happen on other channels, but when the mutant is killed the player then attacks the cannibal. Virginia and Kelvin both have a "trust" level that levels up over time and by your actions. It's entirely possible that the developers have included this with the natives as well, but no one has ever given it a good test. The developers are keeping it quiet if they did. In spite of the loot, leave the cannibal camps alone. Only loot them if no one is around to see you do it. - Build a more lasting fire: Hold a 1/4 log, split in half and aim at the fire. You get an option to build the fire. You will split the log again and add it to the fire, and you can do this twice. The fire will burn brighter and much longer. You can also stack 1/4 split logs specifically as fire wood, either on the ground or in a fire wood holder. - I'm not sure of the exact building mechanics but a triangle in one building square can be made by stacking a full log, a 3/4 log, a 1/2 log, and a 1/4 log on two opposing sides of the square. You may need to add angled cap logs to the triangle, but the roof planks then can be added to these two triangles. It makes a point that's a little steeper than the normal angled roof. - Who you can skin has changed. It seems only the non humanoid mutants are skinable. The blind cave people aren't "creepy" enough. You can burn them for bones.

KZbin lowers the quality drastically. If there's a lot of movement on screen it'll start getting pixelated. The game itself looks great 🙂

Use the stick light an equip the axe in your other hand. Click the gear to boil water. Burn the bodies for the bones. Also its good to put shelves in your house to empty your backpack that way you can make the most of your travels. And if you take your door down and stand inside then put it back up you can add a stick and that enables you to be able to lock your door.

I dont' understand this game. By the time I am 30mins in to a game, I am getting attacked nonstop. It was like this during early access and like this two weeks ago when I went to start another game. I tried co-op with 3 other people and same thing, tons of attacks at all hours about 30mins into a new save.

The first game LOOK EPIC but i stop cuz Snappoints of building stuff is bad...very bad. TONS of ice places but all able build is flat....i tryed buil on hils but game cant handle n switch between total wierd snappoints. I gve up in sof2. I total handle the free building system of nr. 1 n still like to build stuff there...sof2 NO THX. Very poor or unreal that i cant smash ice to get water....and many other points they shud fix before take in new. I check how you build but i think u build a house in a perfect flat like all.

I love all in this ame but building stuff is like beta in 1980. Most horrrible to build ? spike walls...try different all look trash. Even no problem but a lil hill ruin all. look nice but another stray ground build......they have to improve snappoints n terrain management. Very poor building "system"...after Ark 7day to die No man sky forest one kenshi etc etc. Why we dont have a good runnning building system ? Cuz they want to do something "new" ( ego)
