So of course they'll try everyrhing they can to upload it》 《that makes literally no sense tho. Unless the level is impossible without using the door, then there's no sense in disliking it! How is it unfair? You still get a normal level but the level's creator couldn't do it himself, that's all, just play the level normaly. What is unfair about it? If you just wanted to beat the level using the door and not actually defeating the challenges contained in the level, then how are you any different from the level's creator? And what do you even get from beating the level and not actually having fun? See? You literally just said nonsense lol, those levels are fine as long as they are not impossible or over-the-top-hard》 That second reply was to someone who said that it was unfair when the level has a dev door so it probably does not completely apply to you, don't take it as a whole lol

@@elhopper3735 like i said, the door is not important. If somebody wants to use it, then why are they even playing the level anyways? It does not necesarily need to be very hidden. Just enough so people do not think stumble upon it and think that they are supposed to enter it. And about the "Make it easier" Doing such a thing to a level turns it into a whole different thing. If you already have the perfect level that you've been planning for and you wanted to make, and you know it's possible to beat but cannot beat it yourself; there is no reason to ruin your creation and make it easier! Afterall, not everyone wants to make an easy level, maybe they want a level that uses techniques that they are aware of but cannot do them themselves! Or maybe they can complete each part of the level separately, but when they try to beat the full thing, they fail over and over. Or maybe they are a pro level maker and have little time to make all the levels that they planned for, so they need to find a way to use as little time as possible

@@jestfullgremblim8002 Late to the party, but in any sort of development, you must always TEST YOUR PRODUCTS. Because the dev didn't test it, there is no guarantee that the level is even beatable. You are therefore _compelled_ to use a dev door if you find one because of the strong possibility that the level is otherwise impossible, even if merely through the lack of testing. An untested level is a broken level. If you're unwilling to test your level in its entirety, you are not permitted to upload it. Period.

When I made my first Mario Maker I made a dev exit because I thought that was the thing to do. I didn’t use the dev exit, because I instead used the dev intended cheese.

Damn a lot of great levels in this episode, and the bad levels were mostly great levels ruined by dev doors and hidden blocks.

A dev door doesn't ruin a good level. If the level quality is good, the dev door has no affect on that. If the creator made a good level but couldn't beat it because he's not a good a good player, that doesn't make the level bad. Using the dev door allowed him to share the fruits of his imagination with us! I definitely agree about hidden blocks though. Have a blessed day!😄

I don't usually watch your videos with headphones on so idk if your other videos have this but there's weird audio issues with this one I'm noticing with my headphones where it sounds like the audio is clipping. It was so bad I had to take them off to watch it, it was pretty unwatchable with them on
