My 2010 started shifting gears so bad , On drive it doesn't even go foward. Guessing it might be the Timing Chain or The Transmission.

I got rid of the car but only time it went forward was when the front wheels was off the ground. But it needed a new transmission which was pretty cheap

It was the problem but I had got rid of the car! The piece was broken and so the transmission was looking for a signal that wasn’t there lol

I had to do some googling and found out that the tcm is inside the transmission

Thank u so much for responding I didn’t realize you did.. I’m thinking it’s the solenoid setting off the tcm code .. I tried cleaning them but no go ... I’m just glad mines was located in the front side with the black cover ..I keep getting a p0796 no reverse and 3-4-5 ..

Definitely broken taking the cover off. P0700 code is simply a indication you have other transmission codes is a generic thing meaning you need to scan the transmission and not the engine
