Like the decision to stop fighting the river current and jump over to the lake. You put a hurting on those bass brother man. And of course Ole faithful the hellgramites caught some fish. I may get a few less bites tying directly to the braided line but not so much with the break offs. More importantly is your dedication to the basketball team and setting a time limit. Thanks for taking us along again. The lake looked great even with road noise.

You’re making me so jealous. It’s getting pretty cold here, not hitting 50 during the day. I wish we could take our boat out but they pulled out all the docks at the boat ramps for the winter. I might try ice fishing this winter if we get some good ice. Thanks for taking us along.

I figured by now you would be able to afford one them fancy 4 K bass boats with the foot pedal controls. I was watching a guy from my office window at work last week. It views the Ohio river very closely. My office is in the back of the building maybe 60 feet up and the only thing between the building and the river is a jogging path that used to be the rail road line. He had a fancy one. He worked the bank on the other side for awhile and i looked about 2 hours later and he was right under my window working the the east bank.

I know you catch and release, but I would find it very hard to put a yellow perch of that size back in the water or to move from a spot where I might catch even more. Next to walleye, perch are probably the best tasting fish that swims in fresh water. Congratulations on all the spotted bass especially that big one. Keep those action packed videos coming!

John, I love your videos, but I cringe when I see you tossing those fish back in haphazardly. They're probably fine, but they're not practicing for the Acapulco cliff diving team. So, instead of yeeting them like a flaming gas can, maybe you could just extend your arm slowly and release them into the water? Many thanks!

Maybe y'all come from a place where fish are on the end of your line every cast, but practicing conservation is something important here and is near and dear to my heart. It takes no effort to simply place the fish in the water and practice proper release. Tossing the fish out away from you and actually lifting it up to yeet it out makes no sense.
