I am almost 80 years old and have had nothing but satisfaction from my subscription to your channel. Naturally, I grew up when these vehicles were new and so many of us aspired to own one or two of them. This is like a master mechanics class it is what is now needed to keep these machines on the road and looking their best.

Greetings from Australia. The only warning I would give that you is never tighten wheel nuts by machine, always do it by hand and feel. Regards.
@GT380man4 ай бұрын
Agreed, and I don’t own those air tools. They encourage brute force. Also, I always go round any car new to my wife or daughters & check that they can use the onboard Jack & loosen / tighten all the wheel bolts. In practise, they’ll probably never need to change a wheel “in anger”, but we all like knowing they could.

Gary - 1) don’t worry about the “eclectic” collection; that does really keep it interesting. 2) The thoroughness of your repairs reminds me of the time I spent with my dad when I was younger; back in the days when you could fix things yourself. He’s gone now but the memories still linger (though he did finally give up when fuel injection replaced carb’s). If you’re ever in California wine country and I see you off on the side of the road, I’ll stop and we can taste wine while we wait for the tow truck.

Now that he’s no longer around these memories are so precious. You very kindly replied ( much to my surprise ) and having watched this episode I had to write to you again to tell you how much I’ve come to enjoy your content and your precise and patient method of working.
