I lived/ grew up close to Guava Ridge and yup, the water can be freezing cold especially in the mornings but we had to bathe in the mornings for school without heater! Lol. We used to accompany or great grandfather to his farm in Guava Ridge...had to cross a beautiful river to get there. We used to take turns riding his donkey and he would boil soup for us on his farm.....boi seems like light years away but this was just in the 90's! Precious memories indeed. RIP gramps!
