I Found This Secret Sword

I spent a long time upgrading my already strong weapons, which did help them be able to defeat all sorts of powerful creatures. The thing is after hours of doing this I realized there might still be a better sword anyways.

With raw science acquired that you’ve accumulated you’re gonna need to buy out for max mutation slots. Simply gather 12 milk molars, regular milk molars aren’t hard to find but mega ones are a tad difficult. There’s a finder upgrade for milk molars but sadly is 5,000 raw science. Once you’ve maxed out the active mutations you can now equip up to 3 mutation slots. By default for your character is 2 so in total is 5. Your going to need to level up each different mutations and some are highly needed. Blademaster for swords, Barbarism for maces, Javelineer for javelins, and Sharpshooter for ranged weapons. Each one of the mutations increases damage by one level, each one adding more and more.

Just a quick tip about the mom genes mutation: it is very good with weapons with low damage and fast speed because it summons a lot more of them per enemy. It is also better in groups of enemies because the little spiders stick around and fight other nearby things if there are any, but die shortly after the main target is dead if there aren’t any other enemies.

A lot of people didn’t realise that they changed the way the combo works, they made it so full combo’s do more damage instead of single hits, every weapon will do 1st hit - 50 2nd hit -100 3rd hit - 150, it caps at 150 (not including the new percentage upgrades from the smithing station) so you feel like you’re doing less damage but that’s because they want you to be doing combo’s, hope this helps!

All melee weapons do 3 hit combos now, first hit does 50% dmg, second does %150 dmg and %200 dmg on the third attack. Bugs also have resistance and vulnerabilities to certain dmg types.

the moskito blade is a better weapon choice along with an insect bow (not crossbow) because a mix of either crow arrows/venom arrows is an easy kill especially with the moskito blade because it has lifesteel which gives you the health from anything you kill. Both weapons are faster than a club. Because of the smaller cooldown you can get stamina upgrades to pretty much kill an orb weaver within one bar of stamina

about dealing huge damage in this update you need to do a full combo because first hit deals 50% second hit deals 100% and 3rd hit deals 150% thats basically all you need to know and remember SPICY is good against ants spiders and roly polys SALTY is good against antlions, termites and black ox beetle and the ladybird larva FRESH is good against dust mites MIGHTY is universal for every insect ( if you want to know all the insects check it out on yt because its too much of writing)
