Titanium is the 22nd element on the periodic table, and carbon is 6th, hence the name of the brand, and the tag No6 on the carbon fork.

Tell us more about Evan's bike. It looks like he's having a lot of fun on it. Plus he doesn't have to worry about Cerakote getting scracthed or wearing out or anodizing losing it's color, or dents in titanium fenders. In addition it looks like he can ride his bike in gritty gravel in the rain without worrying about whether it's time to replace a $600 cassette due to wear (hopefully SRAM makes a 10 and 11 tooth cog set separately). So this is a beautiful, arty, bike, but it's one that I'd rather my friend had, so I could look at it but not have to maintain it.

Absolutely beautiful! Yes Ti and high end parts are expensive and not “necessary” to enjoy the ride. That being said, I’ve built up a couple of custom Ti bikes and they are the ones I’ve kept, upgraded components, truly lifetime frames. They have also replaced “made obsolete” other bike that I’ve sold, which helped offset the sticker shock. “The best bike is the one you ride.”

It’s is a beautiful and innovative bike and if I could get one I would as my “last bike”. I am going to learn more about this bike and what No.22 are doing. A comment about aesthetics: the colour and finishing of this bike is amazing. I personally don’t like seatposts and stems, and in this case those, plus the fenders, all in the same colour/finish. The reason is it seems “too much” of a good thing. I like the silhouette of a bike to have at least two colour/finishes with a third in very small accents. I personally like the 60-30-10 rule or thereabouts (maybe 75-20-5 for a bike) in terms of the amount of any given colour on any object with complex geometry/assemblage (and even in room designs).

Great bike ! A few comments on the video , you mention the buttons on the Sram to change the screen on the head unit you say :Finally ! Funny thing those buttons were available on from manufacturers since at least 2001 to control (in shimano case) their flight desk computer (Campy had a similar system) I still have them on my 2001 Cannondale and they still work flawlessly. Not sure why they took them out at the time, they could of make them work with garmin/wahoo etc . I am happy that no22 make titanium fenders but the front one is too short and make it look dorky.I like Honjo titanium fenders better for that. Also the way the fenders stay are mounted to the fork and the use of L brackets (L brackets ? Really ?) look like the fenders were and afterthought not part of the design of the bike. (Which is the case, they are listed in accessories on No22 website afterall) The Cerakote paint look amazing althought I am not sure why No22 dosen't offer the white color that they use in the 2021 Enve builders showcase. It's the best looking bike they ever build in my opinion. All that being said , the bike look amazing and No22 would be one of the top brand I would look if I was building another custom bike. They are really a innovative brand but I would customise it even more with stuff that No22 dosen't offer unfortunately.

9 Love the bike and companies that use science for names for their products. The 22-6 bike company reminds me of a similar Cannondale bike, the 6-13, not fancy names or after historic cycling places. Just what the bike is made out of. But few can do that. A titanium frame bike is hoping to be my next bike as I need to upgrade from a CX bike use everyday and gravel events that only take up to 40mm depending on tread/ rim width combo to one that takes wider rear tires.
