You mentioning the "wide range" sums it up perfectly--no 2 songs ever sound alike! I forget what song, but someone on YT mentioned that he even put a Jimmy Hendrix guitar riff into one of his songs!

Really terrific presentation! Hard to replicate Donald Fagan's slight imperfections that seem to give off a sense of urgency when he sings. Lead singer here is very melodic, while providing an even more soothing and measured rendition. Good stuff!
