The sound is unearthly stunning - almost better than the original?😇. Brilliant musicians, and the lead and background vocals are also outstanding. Karl's singing is so similar to Donald's, congratulations! For me, Steely Dan is one of the best and most musically innovative bands of all time. Thank you for keeping the music alive. I'm not seeing the instrument that is playing the background shuffle beat on New Frontier. It must be one of the keyboards, or maybe it is programmed. This is amazing! I've loved everything about Steely Dan since the 70's.

Most bands that I see cover New Frontier have a programmed shuffle beat I think. Just makes it easier to keep tempo that way

As much as they sound like a Steely Dan cover band it’s a no wonder that it’s actually a great Donald Fagen, Nightfly cover band. You can take the Donald Fagen out of Steely Dan but you can’t take the Steely Dan out of Donald Fagen. Great job to all! nice mix also, props to the FOH and post production.

Is it possible to aquire some arrangements for my bigband in The Netherlands?
@johannhjorleifsson7 ай бұрын
What we did is that three members of the band split between them making lead sheets of all the material and writing out the horn parts. Each member then took care of their own instrument part on top of the lead sheets so there are no full arrangements written out and available, sorry about that.

Great sounding band, but the singer honestly makes it difficult to fully appreciate the performance. He changes the phrasing and melody too much. You’re doing a tribute show, accuracy matters. 😊
