Hey MrLlama! Would you consider making a video on how to organise your stuff and which items are worth picking up? That's maybe 2 videos, but my biggest problem is deciding which stuff to leave, which to vendor and which to keep for maybe another character or a friend leveling or something, and I've worked myself into a huge logistical mess which I feel lots of others might share. I see your shared stash so clean and I'm wondering how they're not overflowing and how to you use the shared tabs for moving stuff around optimally. Thanks again!

@@CountYulith Well kinda.. You often saw Necros and maybe Hammerdin Paladins use it.. maybe a Barb if he lacked mana leech. For barb a high def ornate with Life and resists would be better and if you went for a low defence one an Iceblink was awesome back when Freeze targets worked for every hit always. But I used to have a Silks on my MF barb in Classic since I could get the mana leech from there and then focus jewelery for MF. 100 str requirement made it a bit akward for casters and such. Many desired to make Sorc with a base str and just use light armors. You were not meant to get hit at all by melee attacks. Everyone looked for high HP and resists rares for their Sorc so they could pump as much energy as possible and use an Energy Shield. Also f.e. Frozen orb could cost up to 70 mana / cast and it didn't have a delay and the damage was lower (170ish). So you could spend your 1300 mana pool in just a few seconds by spamming frozen orb. So building your character was much different.

It seems to me that gambling coronets is a suboptimal strategy. Circlets are far cheaper and as long as you are 92 you get access to all the juicy affixes/mods. I realize you are keeping open the possibility for 1 GG unique and 1 solid unique with coronets that upgrade into tiara and diadem. On the other hand, you get to gamble significantly more rare circlets that can roll that GG stat combination. If nothing else try gambling a similar amount of gold in circlets for science! :) Thanks for the video as always

nothing. it has no useful pvp mods (visionary - which is a must have mod -, 2os, 30frw, life) beyond the basic 2/20 and for pvm there are better options readily available for low cost

@@d8l835 You can't make runewords in magic items. There are a couple of items that are extremely valuable, but are often overlooked. This includes various jewelers/artisan's tiaras of x, jeweler's monarchs or sacred targes of x (especially deflection) and jeweler's armors of x (especially of whale). The reason for that is they are a straight up upgrade over the normal socketed items IF you're not planning to make a runeword it them. For example you want to have a +20%/-20% to lightning shield by socketing 4 rainbow facets in it. If you put them in a jewlers monarch of deflection you can have additionally a +30/20 blocking, which you wouldn't have in a grey monarch. This is all the top end gear, in large part a PvP one, cause the good jewels are also very expensive (15% ias 40 ed for example). Oh, and those jewlers items of x are also extremely rare + there is no rare/set/unique helmet/armor/shield that can get correspondingly 3/4/4 open sockets.

A man must not be too greedy. Those coronets are not bad at all. All of them are perfect for nightmare or even hell difficulty. At least i would put on a circlet/coronet that has + to all res, + to skills and + to some of the attributes. The attack speed or FHR can be taken from other items also.

I've gambled 7,000+ coronets so far to try and get a 3 socket tiara with 30% FRW for my bowazon. Still a long way to go... but found quite a few high runes (my first ever Jah drop), nice skiller +vita grand charms and a few facets, and gambled some nice 3 socket tiaras since I started this (+11 min damage, +32 mf, +8% life steal, +22 PDR).

There is a bug that if you gamble circlets, when it turns into a coronet on the gamle screen, it will always be a tiara or a diadem when gambled. This greatly increases the value of gambling.

Yes you can and 92 is so you can have the possibility to get the affixes that you want. if you're lower level than that ,you can't get +2 to all skills no matter how many you purchase it'll never happen because the ilvl won't be high enough

What items are worth gambling and at what levels should you try for them and why?

Circlets, coronets, tiaras and diadems are always nice to gamble. These should be gambled at the highest level you can. Other things people gamble are: Light plated boots to make into Blood Boots. Heavy Gloves to make into Blood Gloves. Boots to make onto caster boots. Light belts to make into caster belts. Rings and amulets.

Gambling rares is awesome. Thats why I always loved Classic D2 where Rares are best for most of the slots and at the same time you can generally use any kind of armor you want (not need elite or exceptional necessarily except for Barb). So you can gamble all your excess gold for some good upgrades.
