A pretty big caterpillar I found on the mountain!
This is a pest that eats the leaves of mulberry and chestnut trees, and is said to have occurred en masse in Korea in 2019, causing great damage.
I decided to punish this pest and give it to the mantis that ate the leech last time.
However, it doesn't seem easy to hunt because it has a lot of thorn-like hair.
Can the praying mantis hunt this disgusting bug?

Not gonna lie, mantises are metal. They will eat everything that moves, even they're looking tougher to be devoured like that caterpillar.

Hi pleasebee! I don’t understand your language, but I hope you understand d this, I owned a mantis, she laid an egg, but she died a week after, present day. I have two praying mantises, 4 eggs. The first was from the one I mentioned, 2 were from one, and the last was from my other one. Im very happy to watch your videos, and I have been a subscriber for months now. 저는 어렸을때 곤충박사라고 불릴정도로 정말 좋아했었어요. 그래서 곤충채집하고 키우고 했는데 늦가을 사마귀를 잡고 채집통에서 사육통으로 옮겨주는걸 까먹고 할머니 댁에 두고 가족들끼리 해외에 잠깐 나간적이 있는데 한달뒤에 사마귀 보관한 방에 들어가보니 개미같은것들이 천장에 막 매달려 있어서 한곳에 넣어서 분리하고 먹이주고 나중에 봄되는날 풀어주었어요.. 그때 정말 끔찍했답니다 ㅋㅋ

저도 2년전에 거대 송충이 봤는데 저것보다 더 컸음 어림잡아 9~10cm정도 되었던것 같음... 이름이 섭나방 유충인가 그럴거임. 또 전에 지금은 없어졌지만 술고래라는 곤충유튜브에서는 온 몸이 하얀털로 뒤덮인 송충이가 있었는데 재봤더니 정확히 9cm였음. 참고로 다흑영상에 나왔는데 동남아에서는 거의 손바닥만한 송충이도 나왔음......

불나방을보고 '불에 타죽는 줄도 모르고 빠르게 달려든다. 몸에 불이 붙었을 때는 이미 너무 빠져 나오기에는 깊게 들어가서 그대로 타죽는다'라는 속설이 있는데 그런 말이 나올 정도로 터무니 없는 이동속도는 애벌레때부터 타고 났나 봅니다.
