Praying mantises usually eat mealworms and grasshoppers.
Today we have prepared a little special food.
It's a super mealworm!
Super mealworms are more than three times larger than regular mealworms, but they feel almost 10 times bigger. They also have powerful jaws, so you have to be very careful.

넓적배는 온습도에 따라 사냥하지만, 왕사마귀는 온습도 상관없이 잘 사냥하는 개체인 것 같네요… 넓적배는 잘 사냥하지 않을 땐 귀뚜라미를 주면 넘 사냥 잘 합니다..❤❤

겨울철에는 건조하고 온도도 낮아서 탈피 성공률이 많이 떨어집니다. 탈피시기때 습도를 높여주면 큰 도움이 됩니다!

어릴 때부터 사마귀를 키우고 있지만 사마귀와의 이별은 여연히 슬프네요 ㅠㅠ 지금은 반려(암컷)사마귀 아라가 세상을 떠난후 1년이 지났네요. 순하고 귀여운 아라 보고 싶다... 이젠 너무 슬퍼서 잠시동안 (잠시가 언제일지는 모르겠지만)사마귀를 키우지않겠다고 자신에게 결심했어요. 아라ㅠㅠ 하늘에선 잘지내고 있겠죠?

일반 밀웜은 손으로 막잡아도 무해하지만 슈퍼밀웜부터는 손바닥에 올려두듯이 살포시 잡지 않으면 물더라고요... 그래도 밀웜이라서 공격성을 뛰지 않아 먼저 공격하진 않지만... 손가락으로 좀 쌔게 쥐면 위험하다 판단해서 물더라고요... 물리면 상단히 아픕니다...

안녕하세요 저는 6령사마귀를 키우고있어요 어찌됐지 모르겠지만 엄마사마귀도 살았있어요 그 알이 따듯해서 ㅠㅜ .10월에 나온거있죠. 그레서 열심히 조금만한 거미를 주는데 2령은 한 8마리정도 있었는데 6령때보니까 1마리입니다. 겨울이라서 사마귀먹이도 조금만한 밀웜으로 주고있어요

I'm keeping a wild female praying mantis, she is about 6 months old and already has given birth to 5 egg sacs, and she still appears healthy. I would never grap her by her back, since that would make her uncomfortable. Just surround her with both hands and she would climb up into my hands.
