I love that we can get to see a bigger person workout and eat right but NOT see a huge drop in weight because it shows people that all bodies are different and what may make one person drop 30 pounds in 7 weeks may not have the same result on another person's body. But there are some people who body shame and just dont empathize with people who have severe weight issues like this young woman. By severe I mean overweight and very difficult to lose it. I go through this too. I can lose the first 10 pounds and then my body just stubbornly holds on and wont let me keep losing. It's very defeating. We have to learn as a society to be more understanding and more supportive to overweight people. I really hope she continues eating right and exercising!

Sorry fam but the average joe's metabolism doesn't vary that much as people always make it out to be. She said she's done a lot of freelance art work, though it sounds like she doesn't have a full time job just yet. Melissa Smith I do want to preface this with the fact that I am not a doctor. To my knowledge (personal and research) struggling to get pregnant or struggling to carry to term is not uncommon with PCOS. However, I highly suggest you ask your doctor about your specific situation and needs because PCOS symptoms vary from person to person and there are plenty of different avenues to try in terms of keeping a regular cycle and ensuring the safest possible pregnancy. Many women don’t have much of an issue with getting pregnant and many women do. Talk to a medical professional whom you trust to properly advise you about your PCOS. Much love 💛

It’s interesting because I’m now 20 years old and back when I was 15/16 I was told I was too young to be put on stronger medications for PCOS. This was in Canada so I know the mentality with prescription medication can be different in the USA. But I’ve had it relatively under control with diet and exercise and the birth control minipill until now... and I know of others like me too. So when I see a lot of American youtubers or bloggers who were put on these medications earlier it surprises me. Also, they usually have more issues with weight and depression. That aside, I have to say I found Kristi to be super inspirational and strong. Since I also have cerebral palsy which results in weakness on my right side, exercise is always a fight and a challenge. But I don’t allow people to see that in my day to day unless they are close to me, because I worry so much about seeming weak. Seeing Kristi be so open made me feel better about maybe letting more people in and asking for help, so thank you!

MiyukiZero they are, but that's just a part of the process 😊 I take birth control to try and balance it out but it's been a long process of finding one that can help in any way.

This episode was so heartwarming. Even though there wasn’t the drastic physical change as there has been in some of the previous episodes, the change in her mental state is amazing, especially considering that she lost her job in the middle. And when the nutritionist offered to give her another month for free I was so happy!! Such a genuinely kind gesture. Thank you for promoting a truly inclusive idea of fitness Michelle!!
