Please don’t ever stop showing the cooking of food and making of coffee. It inspired me to go make coffee in my 1984 Westy in the garage! 😂 and - as long as it’s for YOU - you should keep going my man! Merry Christmas 😊

The few hater comments just make us laugh, they are so out of place. This series was pretty fantastic stuff, Vanagons, Tetons, Cooking up the coffee and food puts us all there, its one of the best parts. I consider myself a picky critic and these daily episodes were something I looked forward to daily, great job man, keep up the filming and real content! Merry Christmas!

You’re a good person bro it is awesome that you gave your van away to a family that was in need, and clearly were trying to make ends meet. Also your Volkswagen looks great and you got amazing content.

That was a nice act of generosity Sebastian! I am sure that couple is forever grateful and will pay it forward with another act of kindness:) The days are getting longer and it won't be long until everything starts turning green. What do you have planned for your next adventure? I love the Yukon and Alaska area the scenery and wildlife are abundant.

That was super nice of you. Although no good deed goes unpunished 😅. You give away a van and yours breaks down. I can't believe you have haters, what is wrong with people.

The reason you likely have RPM issues on the highway is the transaxle is not a transaxle from a diesel if you just used the one in the gas van. It has different gearing than a gas motor. You can probably buy the right gear set to fix that. A different option is to use a subaru transaxle with a reversed ring & pinion set (subaru gears) makes them but you'd need to look into the gear ratios to see what would work with the lower rpm diesel. As for TDIs ALH's are good but don't be scared of the next model the BEW's. I have a BEW golf and it's dependable as hell, it's just electronic controlled but it's not hard to make stand alone harness for them Oh as far as VW community, yeah that's certainly a bonus with Vanagons. Everyone is always helpful. I had a guy bring me a trans for my 1st one when it broke leaving me stranded. It's also sort of the same with the Honda Element community, a lot of people use those for camper vans just a bit smaller but they have a solid community as well. They're also pretty cool little vehicles and do off road well due to AWD in some of them and they are very dependable.

1:35 @sebastianstonum Hey Brother, metal on Teflon is BAD! Puts Teflon in your body. Stay healthy, lose the Teflon, it always comes apart and you always eat it when it does! At least get some wooden utensils and throw out anything Teflon with even a single scratch. Cast iron is heavy but safe and nearly indestructible. Not sure about the new titanium stuff but seems more stable as well, though obviously expensive. Take care of yourself and rest up. Happy trails!
