I went to Zadar as well, and stayed in an apartment owned by a guy called Marijan Maruna... he liked football, and we spoke a lot about the NK Zadar. Turns out, he was the Croatian 2nd Divisions top scorer in 2007-8 with 19 goals. Nice guy!

Not a lot. I tried it and it takes YEARS because the the reputation is so low that no good players want to join and the AI normally focuses on Italian and Sammarinese players over everyone else.

What happened is that every competition grows more than it recedes in reputation so playing the long game every top 15 league or so will have 4-4.5 half star rep 70-80 years in the Future because of simulation.

The league ranking thing I have seen happen before this far ino the safe for some reason they all have similar reputation and this swings incredibly maybe a more relevant metric would be nation coefficient rankings

There was, however, Croatia going into concourse with hundreds of millions in debt, and then being immediately reincarnated as Dinamo with a clean slate, in the same league, no debts to creditors, the same players, and laying claim to the history of the previous club - which you can easily verify online, unlike that what you've written. ;)

I've made a custom league on Steam for this. Called it NI Professional Era if you want to dl it. Restructured it and gave same money as English league system. Kept all stadiums etc the same but made teams all pro to start with. I'm having an absolute blast playing it, 20 years in I'm properly competing in Champs league, havent won it yet but made QF's

Now the next experiment 2 billion for the 5 leagues in the Top 10 after the Big 5. So Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey and Ukraine? Use either the reputation or the UEFA coefficient ranking. It will be fun to see the how it ends when more than 1 league has that much money, and it will create more competition for the Big 5. It always looks like the top clubs win the CL but with more rich leagues the challenge will be bigger. Also maybe put the second division with that money deal to see if the leagues change more their composition.

fun fact my cub Istra is owned by Deportivo alaves the spanish side who play in the second divison. best place we got in the experiment is second, lets go, we can only dream about that irl. tbh last season i thought we are gonna play in europe cuz we were in the final of the cupand lost to dinamo and since dinamo won the league , i thought we would get the europa league spot. turns out you dont get anything :)))

That team you couldnt pronounce is Hrvatski Dragovoljac - kind of sounds like Drago - vole - yats in English. Based in Zagreb they were promoted to Prva HNL (1st division) in 20/21 then relegated into Druga HNL ( 2nd division last season) Other one you struggle to say is NK Međimurje ( Med jee moor yay ) based in Čakovec in North Croatia (Hrvatska) Ps Greatest team Hajduk sounds like Hi - dook
