Rebellions actually have nothing to do with resources actually, it’s all about how far is a village from the main village of the kingdom and how big is said village mostly, its also heavily effected by whether the village has a different culture from the main village. So essentially if there is a village 3 times the size of main village and is on the other side of the map that has a different culture that city is extremely likely to rebel. Not guaranteed, but very likely. Edit: it’s also largely effected by a kingdom having to many villages, which is why there’s a rare knowledge that makes a kingdom able to manage more city’s, that trait makes the maximum number of villages before it starts making every single village not want to be in the kingdom anymore larger.
@elgrandefleau7359
@elgrandefleau7359 Жыл бұрын
There is also my way. I expanded the world along a single village. So I ended up building a kingdom controlling the whole map, that was its the capital, with no other city, meaning there were no possible rebellions.
@E-6969
@E-6969 Жыл бұрын
@@elgrandefleau7359 you do realize there’s an option to just turn of kingdom expansion. And also I was talking about the game mechanics if there is multiple villages, none of this applies to a kingdom with one village because these mechanics don’t do anything to the main village as it’s loyalty is permanently set to 100. So what is your argument about how the games mechanics work on kingdoms with multiple villages. Because I was never talking about exploiting how the game works in order to avoid something undesirable, I was stating how the mechanics work.

@@E-6969 The people of USA rebelled just because of taxes that they were given by Parliament, plus, they almost lost, but the absurdly stupid decision the British made to keep the later first President of the USA George Washington alive after getting the chance to kill him because the British were satisfied with beating him in a war turned the entire table.
@PpVonDronAnd11Eyeballs
@PpVonDronAnd11Eyeballs 9 ай бұрын
Also, I think the loyalty of the leader can go really low due to traits they have then there is also a chance to rebel even if there aren’t many other villages, or their village isn’t that far away.

lol I enjoy looking at maps like these because there's a recurring theme, which is that all of them have very inaccurate depictions of deserts, particularly in Australia and central Asia. Australia has quite a lot more green than what is shown on this map, and it's weird because they made the small bit of green in the south western part but not the big bit of green all along the eastern coast. And for central Asia it seems like a lot of the time people tend to forget that all of that isn't just desert, some of it is, definitely not that much though.

@@marcelocampos9197 hiding words will never be good. And the people who suffered under the nazi regime don't have an issue with the words, it's how they are used. If we praised the swastika or Nazi leaders then that would be a problem, if we talked bad about it, they would most likely like it. And as such, the words themselves are not the issue, but how they are used. Okay, outside of the game, I just wanted to share that I would actually want to know if we as humans would have been able to be a society if everything we had was infinite. Like, because we basically started as civilization because we had commerce in between each other
@robertlotstein9670
@robertlotstein9670 Жыл бұрын
with infinite resources, technology would basically grind to a halt because scarcity drives innovation. Everything we have is a result of scarcity. Products ,innovations, and technology all exist because of some fundamental scarcity, and the drive to address that scarcity. With infinite resources there would be no need to collaborate with your neighbor, a different city, state, or country. So instead of civilizations and society it would just be anarchy, the only technological advancement would be finding newer and better ways to kill each other.

Prologue: The Age of Harmony In the time before memory, the world of Eldoria existed in perfect harmony. The realm was a tapestry of vibrant landscapes, from lush forests and shimmering lakes to towering mountains and endless deserts. Eldoria was blessed with two powerful beings: Solara, the Goddess of Light, and Noctis, the God of Shadows. They maintained a delicate balance, their powers working in tandem to ensure the world's prosperity. Solara bathed the land in warm, golden light, nurturing life and growth. Her light was a symbol of hope and vitality. Noctis, in turn, embraced the realm with a gentle darkness that brought rest and renewal. His shadows were not to be feared but were a necessary part of the cycle of existence. For centuries, peace reigned, and the inhabitants of Eldoria-humans, elves, dwarves, and mythical creatures-thrived under the watchful eyes of their celestial guardians. However, as with all great tales, a shadow loomed on the horizon. Chapter 1: The Prophecy Unveiled In the heart of Eldoria lay the ancient city of Lumina, a magnificent metropolis known for its towering spires and radiant beauty. The city was home to the Luminary Order, a group of wise sages and powerful mages who served as the stewards of Solara’s light. Among them was a young apprentice named Elara, known for her extraordinary talent and boundless curiosity. One fateful night, as Elara was poring over ancient scrolls in the Grand Library, she discovered a forgotten prophecy hidden within the dusty tomes. The prophecy spoke of a time when the balance between light and darkness would be disrupted, leading to a great struggle and the potential fall of Eldoria. "The Stolen Light will herald the Age of Shadows," the prophecy read. "The chosen one must restore the balance before the world is consumed by darkness." Elara’s heart raced as she read the ominous words. She knew she could not ignore the warning. Determined to prevent the prophecy from coming to pass, she sought the counsel of the High Luminary, Master Aelion, a venerable mage whose wisdom was renowned throughout the land. Master Aelion listened carefully to Elara’s concerns and, after much deliberation, revealed that the prophecy was not merely a warning but a call to action. “The Stolen Light,” he explained, “refers to an artifact known as the Heart of Solara, a crystal imbued with the essence of the Goddess’s light. If it were ever to be taken, the balance would indeed be in grave danger.” Chapter 2: The Heart of Solara The Heart of Solara was a magnificent gem, glowing with an inner radiance that could only be described as pure divine essence. It was kept in a sacred chamber within the Temple of Light, heavily guarded by powerful wards and enchantments. Elara, with her mentor’s blessing, set out on a quest to ensure the Heart’s safety. She was joined by a diverse band of companions: Thorne, a brooding warrior with a mysterious past; Lyra, a skilled elven archer with a sharp wit; and Bran, a jovial dwarven engineer with a penchant for invention. Their journey took them across Eldoria’s varied terrains, from the enchanted Everwood Forest to the treacherous peaks of the Frostfire Mountains. Along the way, they encountered many challenges and forged a deep bond of friendship. Elara’s determination and the group’s combined skills allowed them to overcome magical traps, fierce beasts, and treacherous terrain. As they neared Lumina, their greatest challenge awaited them: an army of shadowy creatures led by the Dark Sorcerer Malakar, a once-banished mage who sought to plunge Eldoria into eternal darkness. Malakar had learned of the prophecy and intended to steal the Heart of Solara to seize control of the realm. Chapter 3: The Siege of Lumina One night, under the cloak of darkness, Malakar’s forces launched a full-scale assault on Lumina. The city’s defenses were formidable, but the Dark Sorcerer’s dark magic proved overwhelming. Elara and her companions arrived just in time to witness the beginning of the siege. With valor and bravery, they fought side by side with the city’s defenders. Elara used her burgeoning magical skills to repel the dark forces, while Thorne’s might, Lyra’s precision, and Bran’s ingenious contraptions turned the tide of battle in their favor. However, Malakar was relentless, and his shadow magic seemed to grow stronger with every passing hour. Despite their best efforts, the Heart of Solara was seized by Malakar and taken to his hidden fortress, the Abyssal Citadel, located in the heart of a desolate wasteland. Elara and her allies, though exhausted and heartbroken, knew they had no choice but to pursue the artifact before it was too late. Chapter 4: The Abyssal Citadel The journey to the Abyssal Citadel was arduous. The wasteland was a bleak and desolate place, devoid of life. The fortress itself was a towering edifice of dark stone, surrounded by swirling shadows and oppressive gloom. Inside, the Heart of Solara was held within a chamber protected by powerful enchantments and fearsome guardians. Elara and her friends infiltrated the citadel, using their combined skills to navigate through traps and confront Malakar’s minions. As they approached the chamber where the Heart was held, they encountered the Dark Sorcerer himself, who awaited them with a malevolent grin. A fierce battle ensued. Malakar wielded dark magic with devastating force, but Elara’s courage and the support of her friends proved to be a match. In a climactic confrontation, Elara managed to harness the remaining fragments of Solara’s light within her, creating a burst of radiant energy that broke through Malakar’s defenses and restored the Heart to its rightful place. Chapter 5: The Restoration of Balance With the Heart of Solara returned, the balance between light and darkness was gradually restored. The dark forces that had ravaged Eldoria dissipated, and the land began to heal from the scars of battle. Lumina and its inhabitants rejoiced, celebrating the bravery of Elara and her companions. Solara and Noctis, witnessing the bravery and sacrifice of those who had fought to preserve their world, appeared before Elara and her friends to express their gratitude. The gods bestowed upon them gifts of eternal light and shadow, symbols of their harmonious reign. Elara returned to the Luminary Order as a hero, her once-quiet life now filled with new purpose. The prophecy had been fulfilled, not as a warning of doom but as a testament to the power of courage, friendship, and the unbreakable balance of light and darkness. As Eldoria entered a new age of peace, the tale of Elara and her companions became legend, reminding all who heard it of the enduring power of hope and the eternal dance between light and shadow. Epilogue: The Legacy Lives On Years passed, and Eldoria thrived under the guardianship of Solara and Noctis. The tale of Elara’s bravery was passed down through generations, inspiring countless heroes and adventurers. The Heart of Solara was safeguarded with the utmost care, a beacon of light in the ever-changing tapestry of existence. And so, the Chronicles of Eldoria continued, a timeless saga of the balance between light and darkness, and the heroes who dared to stand against the encroaching shadows
