Not because it may not be his. The saying was used to highlight the burden of parenthood and how that typically falls on women and not the men as the men may not be around, whether physically or emotionally.

Was her there for the tantrums? The baths?" I do not deny that there are good fathers, nor do I say that all men are bad. I just know there's a statistical chance this guy didn't do those things. And most of the time, those same men will condem a woman for not having kids. That's when I know they are hiding their past.

Yeah, men are basic. So are women. What makes us different from aminals is that we recognize these basic drives and overcome them. The problems we have in this world today are directly related to people either unable or refusing to overcome them.
