Your results are so fun and gorgeous on you! That fear of overtone not washing out, is diminishing. I love the purple, but don’t want to go for bleach. These two overtone videos give me lots of hope. I just hope it washes out completely on my virgin high porosity hair. I have to say, for being a chelating/clarifying shampoo multiple times, that fader did not seem to impact your gorgeous curls. 🤗🥰

great way to test a clarifying shampoo. People's hair porosity, shampoo, styling and styling products, humidity etc all play a part in the longevity of a colored deep conditioner. I have Purple Overtone and haven't used it yet. I just started letting my hair go wavy/curly and want to get the CGM down before I add color to the mix. You looked great in Purple! Oh and new subscriber today!

I agree, the colors came out beautiful for her!😄 That is the same concern I have with trying Overtone. I’m brunette, but high porosity. In the past I have used a “28 wash out” color and wound up needing a color correction, because it never washed out. Do you have any suggestions?

Oh god, I LOVE overtone! So sad they don't ship to Germany anymore! I also had an purple to magenta ombre. It looked so amazing! With each deep treatment once a week it will get brighter

Once the hair is dry, NO! No transfer to my bonnet or pillowcases or clothes. After I first applied the product I didn’t cleanse after rinsing and did have some slight bleeding onto a T-shirt when my hair was wet. I would recommend using dark towels/T-shirt’s while hair is wet after 1st use and maybe 1st wash with a cleanser just to be safe.

I may have to try this product. My hair is very dark brown with a few gray hairs, so I'm excited to see a product that colors without bleaching first. I haven't dyed my hair in about 25 years (have had every color imaginable) and have used no products at all until the recently when I discovered your channel 🤩 and have become obsessed with improving my wavy/curly hair 😊 and have a drawer full of products now 🤣. And softer and curlier hair ❤️. One question, why would you want to hasten the fading of the color?

I think it’s just preference! The faded colors can give a more pastel look, many like to switch up their colors more often, and others just want short term fun :)

I ordered the rose gold for brown hair after your last overtone video and it did not work at all. Like I had the barest tint of pink in my ends (which are bleached) and nothing else in the rest which is a similar brown to yours. It completely was gone after one wash. Oh and it got all weird and gross when I applied it in my clean, dry hair. It got all clumpy and sticky and almost felt like I was putting bubblegum in my hair. 🤢 I dunno if I got a bad one or not, but I was so disappointed. I did contact them and let them know and they gave me a complete refund without me even having to ship the open product back so I was impressed with that.

I’m really sorry to hear that. It definitely shouldn’t be bubblegummy at all. For me it always applies like a thick and rich deep conditioner- never sticky. I’m glad they refunded you without any hassle.

Using it to show how it works! The first video I ever did on overtone the most common question was how long does it last and did it stain grey hair. So I did a video about a month ago documenting the normal fading process using my regular routine. This follow up is to help those that want to remove color quicker! And just in general to show the color removing completely from my hair :)
