The weird thing is this actually feels more lore friendly. Like in the story I kind of expect the Fallout 4 protag to just be racing like a mad man trying to quickly get supplies, so he can find his son, and not really caring about anything else. This isn't a challenge run, it's an RP run

I feel like halfway. Yes the Sole Survivor would make haste to get their son, but I would also think they would do their best to seek help. And once they know what they're up to (Institute) they would look for the equipment and support needed to get there. Especially the male Sole Survivor, which is canonically a military veteran. He would know better than to blindly run into danger. The female Sole Survivor was a lawyer, so the situation is more unclear, but I would guess she would also use the legal experience. Less about getting weapons, and more about getting allies. So in both cases little to no sidequesting, not going after rumors and stuff, but all companions you get along the main quest until you get into the Institute (Codsworth, Dogmeat, Preston, Nick, Piper) would be more or less involved. And once in the Institute the situation changes, from there on it pretty much depends on the character of the Sole Survivor. Pretty much limited to the Institute and Minutemen ending unless the Sole Survivor becomes more relaxed and starts to roam more in the later part.

2:56:30 - Reaction videos are just people staring, occasionally nodding or laughing. It's the laziest content I've ever seen. Meanwhile, smaller channels that offer insight and analysis of content get overshadowed in the algorithm.

There are extremely cheap reaction channels that just watch and nod, true. But also some pretty in-depth ones. Like some music reaction channels, where the "reactor" not just looks surprised, but actually gives input and reviews what the musicians are doing. I feel like a good judgement call is to compare the length of the source video and the reaction video. If the reaction is much longer (in the area 2x and up), they tend to stop the source frequently and give their input. If the reaction video is at best 10% or maybe a minute longer, that is just their intro and outro. ("hi and welcome back to the channel. Today we are reacting to this video, but first a message from our sponsor" -shows sponsor ad, - shows source video with nodding and laughing "okay that was great, remember to like comment and subscribe and until next time" and basically nothing else)

for rad management in challenges where radaway isn't always an option, i usually try to clear Hallucigen so i can run in the back door and use the rad scrubbers when i need to clean up. granted, you won't be able to loot the key off the gunner, so you'd have to run all the way through, but it's better than nothing

@@Blooky-yl7bo you can, but for a challenge run like this there was no time to farm the 6 fiber optics necessary to build it. i've done "no settlement" runs where it isn't an option, and finding rad management solutions without the fatigue effect from radaway gets tricky -- Nuka-Grape and the Hallucigen scrubbers end up being the viable options.

1:38:21 you don’t have to click more options to rename. You can either double click specifically the name text of the file, or when you right click it, there’s a top row of icons in the context menu box that pulls up when right clicking it, of which the third icon at the top is the rename option. There’s also the same icon at the top bar of the file explorer window when you have a file selected (where your tabs would be in your web browser) that looks the same as the one in the context menu. You could also hit F2 or Fn+F2, as chat said.

It's almost a shame that you forgot the raiders on the airbridge between buildings in Lexington. One of them had a spare fat man, and at least 2 mini-nukes, and there's a turret up there too, for the chance at a biometric scanner. It's also nearly midway between where you were, and Swan.
