I'm not a barstool fan at all, but watch a lot of the break 90s because Trent is such a likable guy. I would love to see a part 2 of this where Grant does an on course lesson with Trent just helping him manage a course and some short game tips that I bet would help him break 90 as much as any swing tweak
@joeschmoe2697 Жыл бұрын
That would definitely help, but I think something he said is he doesn’t want someone like that with him so it’s more of a legit score and people aren’t giving him a hard time for having a professional do the game management for him.

@@DanWessonSpecialist I think it’s tough to really say since BDS has videos recorded weeks if not months in advance, so the timeline of before and after a lesson vs. what it looks like in real play could be off by a few weeks. Give the boys some time, no one walks away from practice with it all figured out. Its why you still find tiger at the range to this day!

So many guys try and talk really technical to guys about golf. Grant understands where Trent’s level is at and spoke to him in such simple terms. Really helps when you have a guy who really wants to learn and improve. Golf ASMR
@tv194635 ай бұрын
Regardless of skill level, you need to coach feel and tempo / sequencing. The technical stuff everyone loves talking about ie angles, swing checkpoints, shallowing, side tilt, etc ends up robbing players of their natural athletic swing, which will naturally produce the right angles and body position

Changing the grip first shows a tremendous understanding of cause and effect in golf. Almost every student I teach has too weak a grip with the lead hand which makes it very difficult to square the face at impact and they end up swinging over the top to compensate. Good job Grant.

This is so informative and amazing to watch Trent's improvement. Grant's a great teacher. Regarding Trent's distance off the tee, I've always thought he should move up a tee box when doing the break '90's. I think they put him too far back, which, combined with some pretty tough courses, puts him at a disadvantage right away. Oh, Grant, one request. Could you also do a session in a simulator with GC Quad or Trackman so we can see the club and ball data? And,, shot tracers would have been awesome when he was hitting his drivers. Thanks!

Great, very simple and practical; This is how the lessons should feel, not necessarily trying to explain so much dynamics in the posture and swing but rather simplifying it so that one can adapt their muscle memory a little. It would be incredible if the cameraman could open the shot when you explain positions of the golf club head, because the change to open or close, or the grip from another point of view is not observed as well. Excellent channel Grant, my wife and I learned a lot this week. 6:58
