Another reason one may consider limiting their intake of ultra processed food is microplastics. It may sound a little random but each level of processing and packaging introduces an opportunity for microplastics to be mixed in with the food. So yeah, on top of the health benefits that come with avoiding ultra processed foods is the added benefit of avoiding some level of microplastics. This was an interesting video to watch and I appreciate the dedication of making new things you haven't made before, keep up the good work!

This is a great comment. I always forget about microplastics, but they are a huge issue!! The less plastic in my system the better, haha. Thank you so much for the encouragement! 🥹

There’s a lot of canned goods in England that aren’t nova 4 - like chickpeas or other beans/ fruit in juice etc. I have way too much ultra processed foods and I’ve been considering trying this - I also have a monster ultra addiction atm 😅 and I’ve been wanting to quit that and Diet Coke and just drink water. Loving this video 😊🧡

That's so interesting with the canned goods! I wonder if it would be possible to find that here...maybe sold at a different market or online? That would be amazing. I think you could give up some things slowly but surely. Honestly not having quick snacks is the thing that killed me, haha. 🙈 I believe in you! Thank you so much!
