I hope you feel better!! I have been so scared to read Lady MacBeth for the same reason you were going in which is why I haven't picked it up yet. Ava Reid is one of my favs. This book sounds too aggressive and I loved A Study in Drowning.

Lady MacBeth was such a disappointment 😩 I wish I'd DNFd because I was so bored. *I don't think this is a spoiler but I'll hide it a few rows down just in case!* . . . . . . Did you get as far as the dragon part? I think that's when I checked out because where did that come from!? 😂😭
