The ole 54 brings back a lot of memories for me. I had one exactly like it in high school Royal Lancer flipper hubcaps all around and a split exhaust manifold . Out there in the country they could hear me coming a ways away

That is one sweet car. I agree, '53 and '54 are beautiful cars. And a pretty good deal on it too considering how solid it is. The patina on it is perfect too. I'd love to see this one get built. It would be a far more interesting build than the Mustang.

Love the 54 Casey. That was the year I was born. Wish I could find one in that good of shape. I would fix it up and make a cruiser out of it. Can't wait to see what you decide it is going to be.

Great find, looks like it was swapped from a 6volt to 12 volt system. My first car was a 53 Belair 2 door sedan. It was drivable in about the same body condition. I learned a lot restoring that car.

The glass jar is the windshield washer, you are lucky it is intact, a lot of them got filled with water in summer then froze in the winter and busted the glass.

Wow!!! What a great find. I live in the K.C. area and very seldom see a 54 in this kind of shape. The best looking year of this body stye in my opinion. You could bring this car back as good as the body is. Rat hole some money for a nice paint job and interior and you would have a forever car. You sure are a lucky dog.

WD 40 is not a lubricant because it will dry up, same as water. It is a good rust preventer. Use oil.

Great hit for $800 👍 that's a diamond in the ruff ...I worked for Dad at his shop in the Boise area until I lost him to cancer and I had a fight with a table saw 😳😞 (dad started doing restoration and mods back in the 60s)...I worked for him for 20 yrs we built daily drivers ..no trailer queens get that 300 -6 fired up .. with the patina look being the trend, slap the glass and interior and somebody's got a descent daily driver ...yeah you have a new subscriber 👍

You score that 54 it’s all original I would weld the details clean it and leave it as is only a clear, and split the 235 . Glass and upholstery, drop it about four inches and you’ll be low riding in style. Greetings from California!
