NALFilein my friend, if you sneak around in the middle lane you will also be warned or punished by the German traffic police, otherwise if you are slower then please move to the right lane because the right-hand lane still applies!

So true, no freedom on the Autobahn :-( But the good thing in GER is: everythings has an associated law :-) You can only use the middle or left lane constantly, if your speed doesn‘t allow you (hopefully your speed is allowed) to change to the middle or right(„iest“ :-)) lane for more than 20secs. Officials don‘t wanna have the „Wilde Maus“ (wild mice, look up for Kirmes) on any street. Speaking with H. Lübke (former GER President): It ain‘t no easy, but easy has it you :-) (correct transl.: you get to choose between a rock and a hard place) Hang on and success in your new assignment!

For future refecence: if you drive on the autobahn and other cars pass you on the right, you are doing something wrong. :) Yes, I know it was raining hard and called for going slow - but then go slow in the right lane. And let the other geniuses drive fast and spin off. But in a orderly german way. :)

Now, now. There's still the possibility that some brainless speed demon is doing things wrong, not you. Which generally becomes more probable if you're already at the local speed limit. And just because you can fit your car into the right lane does not mean there's actually enough space; minimum safe distance generally requires several car lengths.

I have to apologize, you didn't seem to notice. your statement refers to stagnant traffic. otherwise this rule applies. however, you can stay in the middle lane on a 3-lane freeway, provided you occasionally drive on the far right. the 20-second rule is often called this.

About the heat and sweating topic. When I went on vacation in greece for 2 weeks I learned that sweating is just a normal thing that happens when its hot. It was almost 40C all the time. The first couple days it was bothering but after a while I just accepted there was nothing I could do and once I accepted that it was great.

Just buy a mobile AC unit. they cost around 250-400 Euros. Then get a sheet of plywood, cut it to the size of your window, and make a cutout for the vent tube in the middle. Then attach it to your window and attach the plywood something. I made myself little triangular wooden pieces to wedge between the plywood and the frame but you can use anything u want.

congrats to the job - however, you should use the right lane on the highway if it is free, thats mandatory and can cause - as seen in your video - to block the road and cars not being able to take over which leads to some taking over on your right which can cause extremely dangerous situations in particular during bad weather. please stay safe - you got a new job now!

Living on the top floor of a building with no AC can be brutal at times. Did it for four years. The weather is pretty mild on the California coast, but there were a handful of days when it got hot (high 80s to low 90s) and it was impossible to sleep.

Is was in Hall on Sunday, what a great city. We visited the Würth museum and driving back on the Autobahn we got in that same rain storm. You should show more of the city, it is stunning. And obviously it is pretty rich, Würth, Bausparkasse, Recaro aircraft seating factory, that is why they can afford their own football club and to keep all these old houses so pretty.

Lerne Lüften, nachts Fenster auf möglichst auf beiden Seiten der Wohnung und in der Wohnung die Zimmertüren auch auf, dann hast du immer einen Luftzug in der Wohnung. Tagsüber Rollläden runter damit keine Sonne in die Wohnung kommt. Auf diese Weise hab ich 58 Jahre die Sommer ganz gut überlebt.
