I have naturally the same texture that you achieved with your perm. I tend to stick to products from the ethnic hair care section at Target. I love the Kinky Curl Knot Today and the Kinky Curly Custard. My hair is VERY dry and frizzy..the texture is just frizz because my individual hairs are bumpy. I have never had luck with products from standard Drugstore brands suck as Garnier, Dove, Kristen Ess, etc.

Oh I adore your new perm!!! Your hair looks gorgeous!!! I've had straight hair and always loved curly and wavy hair my entire life though since I get a short androgeynous cut and dye my hair currently I don't think a perm would combine well with that. Would definitely be interested in it in the future though
