Hi Miki. This is the first time watching your videos. I clicked on because I like new cars, and yeah, you're beautiful. I used to work in a O.R as a Technician. Loved the work! CONGRATULATIONS on getting the new car. It looks really sharp. Please lock your doors as soon as you get in the car. Don't wait until you're driving and it locks automatically. Car jackers know, your driver side door will remain unlocked until you lock it, or you start driving 25 m.p.h. or more. Always be cautious about your surroundings also. I know nurses have crazy shifts sometimes, and you might end up leaving work at night. Sorry for being too overprotective, I'm also that way with my sister's and 3 nieces. Well, have fun with your new car!

Back in 2017 I got $4,000 off MSRP on a new Honda Accord Sport Edition by using one of those online sites where I got multiple e-mail quotes from local dealers and going off the lowest quote instead of having to negotiate. You can use the lowest quote to see if a closer dealership might match. I also got roughly $4,000 off my Civic back in 2010 doing the same thing. You end up getting a hassle free experience through someone in the internet/fleet sales department of the dealership instead of the regular sales department which has a higher cost structure of salesmen and their sales manager so you can't possibly get as good a price. The best price I could get through a salesman was around $2,000 off MSRP on a Civic in 2010 so I just skipped trying to go through the salesmen route for my 2017 Accord and went straight for the online quotes.

The first thing I bought was rubber floor mats & seat covers when I got my car. It will save you so much time and grief if you were to spill any liquids and for cleaning.

Sorry but never go to a dealership to buy car. If you do, do your price homework and go to more than one and always be prepared to walk out. Best way is go through a credit union and always offer lower than what you want to reasonably pay. Plus best time to buy is after next year models come out usually september to december. I have bought brand new last year cars in may. Another place to buy a car is from a car rental company. You can get last years models with around 30k miles on it at a very low price.

Congratulations! I literally went through the same process at the beginning of the year! I contacted many dealers in the LA/OC area for the car that I wanted. Many of them were overpriced but I found a dealer out in Loma Linda that beat everyone else's price. I still love my car til this day!

My dad is also a great haggler. I took him with me and in my 30's. I am just not good at buying cars. I have friends tell me to negotiate through the dealers web site. They said contact several dealers and let them fight it out. They also said to contact the dealers at the end of the month. The dealerships are trying to meet their sale goals. They will be more willing to go down on the price.

Had you bought a 2019 Prius Prime during July in some states, you would have been able to take advantage of $3500 manufacturer incentive (discount) because its model year ends in summer. As of this writing, Toyota is offering $2000 manufacturer incentive on 2020 Prius Prime in some states. I wonder whether you were able to take advantage of it. Also, the best way to haggle is to pit dealerships against each other, making them beat each other's offer. Because I'm a hard negotiator, I contacted over 30 Toyota dealerships in Maryland to pit one against another. In the end, I was very satisfied about the price.

I hate rude sales representatives. Last time I went to honda to try to bring down the price on a used accord touring (with 25kmile) which they asked for 31k. We spent like maybe 1 or 2 hours there and eventually they told us to "look for other cheaper cars if we don't have the money" and "go on the street to find a cheaper one" lol.

shut up Right now I am doing home health and make $30 an hour. I’m going to be working in a hospital soon and will be making more. I know a nurse who makes $38 an hour who is in psych, and another who makes $50 an hour taking care of geriatric patients.

shut up $30/hr is about $62,000 a year if you work 40 hours a week and $56,160 if you work 36 hours a week. But an amount in taxes gets removed each paycheck so it’s less. If it’s enough depends on where you live. I live personally live in Texas, so it’s more than enough.

Best choice you made, congratulations. For me, whenever I go for car shopping, I will only get a weird color, weird option, and place the order directly to the factory and let them ship it to the dealer. When the car arrive, I refuse to take the car :D, dealer gets pissed and craved to sell the weird car but can't sell it :)). They will call me back and renegotiate the price. Usually I get couple of thousand discount, but they hate me so much. ^_^
