Out with the old, in with a new outboard motor. What a great day getting my new 4 stroke Mercury motor.

Congrats on the Merc, Nothing better than having a new motor you can trust. I finally picked up my boat with the new motor installed and have not had chance to take it out because of all the rain we have been having . Can't wait to see your video when you get it on the water

Thank you and getting a motor that has been gone through throughly with a warranty is comforting. Hopefully the next storm is the last till next winter, I’m itching to go out, but don’t want to hit any logs or other crap floating around out there.

Congrats! on your new motor. I did the same thing back in 2019, where installation and rigging was almost 4k I opted to get yamaha blem, that had 1 hour of use, but brand new with 3 year manufacturer warranty and it was almost half the price of what OC and SD dealers quoted me. I've put in about 400 hours now, and it's running strong as day 1. Hope you enjoy it, and hope to see you on the water soon.

Thank you and that’s awesome to hear you found a killer deal on your motor. Yeah all the local dealers had good pricing for a new motor by itself, but once they added rigging, install, and tax, that good deal disappeared. After buying a brand new Suzuki in 2019, I didn’t want to spend that kind of money again on another motor, especially a bigger HP motor. Found a very reputable shop in Florida that hooked me up and with the cost of the motor and shipping, it was half of a new motor. Hours are low for that year motor and you can see the previous owner didn’t run it a lot at WOT, probably more so in the canals and bays heading to near by fishing spots. Yeah definitely see you on the water soon!
