Nice. Little advice. Lift your mower up as high as the trees and grind it down. It'll save you from having to load them up into a dumpster. Add a weight to you skidsteer.

Got the same thing going on at my place right now- When the tree falls, pull the unit up roll over it then set the blade back down- It will mulch the remainder of the tree eliminating having to pile them up & a dumpster to put them in- Be safe!

It is good for cutting small samplings. I think you actually need a mulched to cut down and grind up the smaller trees and scrubs growing on your property. I do like to watch your show, it is very entertaining .

For future cleaning. Get a sale tractor with bushhog and foam all four tires. Will need a mower to maintain grass anyway. Just a thought

Keep the area around the hydraulic motor clear with an air hose or leaf blower. A little bit of oil and dry debris can catch fire pretty easy.

Getting it done! The only concern I have is for your eyes. I know they can be a pain, but a face shield or at least safety glasses would be a good idea. I think you will be pleased once it is organized. I find that it tends to save time, cut down on frustration and allows you to keep better track of what you have. Congratulations on the new machine. Is spoken times before about wanting to get somebody to clear it out. I'm sure the machine cost was significant. But now you can do these things at your leisure and not have to find somebody to do half of it and quit on you in the middle of it. The one tree said you still need dropped I was out in the middle of nothing around it. It looks very easy to drop what's a chainsaw. But if you're not comfortable, best not to do it that way. I enjoyed the episode.

S, the best part of doing this type of destruction is the fact that you are not wiping out an entire generation of birds and other types of wildlife since all young are older and can relocate to areas not disturbed and young are not still in nests. I do the same on my farm. Only wish more had the same thoughts. Again you show that there is more to business than money .. thanks

Silas, the purpose of the brush cutter is to mow things down and shred the crap out of it by running it all over. It is not to cut down little trees ,then stack them up for burning later or haul them away. mulch that stuff up, the Terminator should be able to handle all that,if not send it back and get the Big Boy Terminator that can do it . Andrew Camarata ran over and mulched a lawn tractor with his brush cutter and it still runs and mulches just fine. Work that mulcher Silas, don't baby it. Lol.

You need a skid steer with an A/C unit, then you would be protected from the dust and flying debris. Tracks on the skid steer would also solve another problem.

I think that you made a good choice buying that industrial mower, watch some videos on industrial mulchers. You don't have to cut the trees down and pile them up. That machine should be able to mulch the entire tree up.Thats why I say watch some videos on them it's a good way to learn how to operate them. Sorry I should have watched the whole video before trying to teii you how to mulch. I realize now it's a mower.

Silas, referring to the bush hog, I concur with the other comments, better eye protection and a respirator or mask. Before you start cutting down the trees, check the ground for metal that could damage the bush hog blades. I hate to see any damage to your new equipment.

yep freedog5228 is right it has what thay call hoggerblades very thick and very stong thay should have carbide teeth if thay dull you can have them sharpened and if thay break off thay can be replaced so you wont have to buy a new blade thay can be sharpened pretty cheep

Silas i used many different types of these on skid loaders clearing under power lines but one hot day i took door off of skid to stay cooler ,big mistake ran into a stump then lifted mower while running a long peice of bark was rapped around mower hit me in forehead,bloody mess i was ,hope this never happens to anyone but keep that door on.
