You really should do some more stuff with this, Jan, that was great to watch. We managed to get a replacement charge cover for ours that also broke. Couldn't help noticing your drone nearly wiping out on the power line 👌🏻

Currently there is no regulation.. But the draft regulation says just wear a helmet.. I don't know about any insurance but I wouldn't be surprised if that will be a thing in a few months..

I’m planning on getting rid of my Smart EQ in September. So that’ll bring to an end 4 years of car ownership. 2 with the Zoe and 2 with the Smart. They’ve both been great cars but I realised I just don’t need a car and am wasting a huge amount of money on driving. I plan to cycle and take the train mostly, and will probably get a scooter as well to mix it up a bit.

I just buy this scooter(280 euro here in Romania) and it's the best transportation vehicle for a big city like Bucharest where I live. Here in Romania the legislation change in the beginning of the year(2020) and you can ride an electric scooter like any other bike on the public roads .

Range....20km or 30km?

Where I live there are a lot of hills so range is reduced. I managed to do 13.4km one day and had about 40% battery left. So I think 20km is doable. And that's a long time riding and gets pretty hard on your ankles. I currently do about 20km a day and end up charging it after about 15km. Usually at around 30% battery remaining.

Would love to try it on the flat and when Covid restrictions are gone I may go to Killarney and so a ride there around the lakes.

@@JanBartSpang The 20km real range (and the failed rubber cover) makes me wonder, because there are a lot of fake copies of that scooter, which are often lacking in quality in various ways, as seen in a few YT videos. It might be worth double-checking.
