2 days ago my husband confessed to all our families and friends he’s a narcissist. He had something even worse I could have told them, so he finally admitted it. I am separated from my narcissistic in-laws ( mother in law ,brother inlaw,sister in law) for last 8 months. I am at peace now with my son and husband. Much vexation ,sadness and grief has haunted me ever since . Also masters of the Houdini act. They disappear . I have Illegally lost three houses and two flats I rented .All due to narc shady lawyers . One was busy fantasizing about the female narc who used her body to corrupt the judges . And I was homeless and lost a fortune and all my pets and my health and respiration due to these liars . They do not give a hoot . I know all this farrr too well after being married to two horrible narcs who became increasingly abusive over years in all ways!!! When Jesus walked this earth the narcs during his life accused/ said all these same things to & about him, teaching & preaching people to love & obey him & his father's ways only!! The only way & road to life abundantly here & in eternity! His words say directly: " Don NOT conform to ( the ways) of this world but to the word if God"! When I was growing up * I'm 58 yrs old) my moms generation was taught to " just suck it up & not talk about" abusive husband's! Well that cost my family EVERYTHING!! My family was so dysfunctional- my 2 much older siblings were horrifically abused- mental, physical, verbal & serial then my next oldest sister & I had a lot of it too but only slightly less! None of us were ever close & my brother, the oldest, committed suicide in 2001! I was the first one to get the call! My mom suffered a second stroke b/c of it & we almost suffered from everything!! My oldest sister was diagnosed w/ borderline personality early in life & became pure evil, whi went on to hurt & abuse her only child, which has had profound lifesaving effects! Hurting people hurt people unless there's a chain breaker in the family!! I've Been that one but unfortunately lately went on to marry 2 narcs abusers as well! Textbook classic case! Peoplexwhi are narcs themselves will ALWAYS try to use their lies & pistons of authority yo tell the good & healthy person the things like they told you Danish, b/c that's just one more way to gaslught/ brainwash, control & manipulate a total stranger so they can score more points in their own demon infested perverted brains. A wise person that I admired once said to me: "Jan, a teacher teaches what he/she needs to know". I've wondered that statement for many years and finally get it. She had it in a frame over her desk and when I would get upset at things, she would smile in love and understanding while pointing to that prayer strategically placed on the wall. They help move us along.... being forged through the fire of heartaches, emotional or other forms of pain and everything the enemy means as a form of destruction. There is no way out.....except THROUGH. You CAN make it but the first step is .....I say it again: to decide to SAVE yourself. You have to WANT to NOT stay in the pain no matter how broken you are. You have to DECIDE to NOT give up no matter if you have to scratch, climb, or crawl out of the situation (fire) at a snails pace! My ex Narcissist is also a lawyer. He got control of my trust and spent most of the money (multiple xxx,xxx) instead of investing it. It was a manadatory trust so in theory I had full control over it. But he would write checks and then threaten me to "let him." He is a lawyer, I don't even have a high school degree. So it looks very bad on paper to see what he's done. He knows this so he says I can stay here in his house for free" until i "get my act together. Um,, he took so much money I could have BOUGHT a small house with no mortgage in here in the US!

Me too! From my ex spouses lawyer. I lost it emotionally but my lawyer? He was cool as beans and never gave in. He must have dealt with these people before.

There's a saying that says it's better to live in the wilderness than to live in a house with a wife who is always a hot-headed. What I learned in life is that doing good to an evil person can bring him to wisdom BUT... If the person is truly an evil person who loves doing evil, he will not see the kindness done to him. Also the ones who are guilty of breaking the bond in a family are those people who do evil and loves doing evil
