I just calculated how long it will take me to pay off my student loans and I'm happy that I can likely have it all paid off by the end of 2018. I just graduated in December and do not have a job yet, but if I have one by April I can be debt free in 2019 and just after my 22nd birthday. It feels so good. If I were to pay off my loan over a 10 year period, I would be paying 24 times the amount of interest. That is insane. If I keep up the same intensity of payments, I can have a decent 6 month Emergency fund after 6-8 more months (Summer 2019).

Girl, I'm in the same boat physically! I'm on round two of antibiotics and steroids for bronchitis and I may end up on round 3... go back on Friday to see el doctor. I listened to your scream live and have been a follower since day one. You rock. You are a true inspiration! You have some great wins and it's super exciting that you have some new followers. Money win: I cash flowed my uninsured pregnancy and paid $3000 to the hospital on Wednesday when I delivered my baby. It was nice to have the funds in my account and not have medical debt. (I was uninsured because I got pregnant on my old insurance and pregnancy was considered a "preexisting condition" and my new insurance would not cover it)

I may have just found your channel a couple of weeks ago, but I feel like I've known you forever...I've been watching all your old videos and it is so fun seeing you so happy and free compared to way back when you were shackled by debt (and isolated in Mena). I was so excited to see your debt free scream and I can't wait to do that myself one day! I paid off my credit cards last year and now I'm starting to work on my student loans, but since they went into default I'm not sure how to handle them now. I used to make weight loss videos on YT back in 2014-2015, but life got in the way. You've inspired me to come back to YT for the support, so I am doing both weight loss videos again and also debt loss videos now. I'm just a couple years older than you, and I wish I had been as smart as you were in my twenties to get my life together earlier. I have a long way to go now, but I am determined to be debt free one day - as soon as possible! You've worked hard and you deserve all the happiness!! Congrats on the raise!

Hey Sarah! I am hoping that you will answer my questions because I think you've been in the same situation I am in right now. A few month ago I moved to another country with my boyfriend, right around the same time when I started my debt free journey. Now, I'm finding it hard to balance going to events and such to find new friends and being on a debt free journey. I have a small freelance business, so I do have a moderate income but most of it goes to bills and paying off debt asap. But everything costs money so my entertainment budget is depleted so fast each month that I have to say no to so many things. I am super motivated to become debt free, and I know it requires sacrifice, but I don't want this journey to hurt me when it comes to building a life in a new country. How did you handle this when you moved to Texas for your new job? Sorry for the long post and thanks so much in advance for your answer!

Samantha Gray Similar experience; I had Comcast and started out paying about $40/ month. Over the course of 2 years the bill doubled, and I got disgusted and cancelled it. So to access unlimited internet, I switched to unlimited data through my cell carrier (Verizon) and use my phone as a hot spot if I need to. Since 4 of us share and split the cost of a cell account, my individual cost for cell & internet combined is $65/month (my phone's paid off). Win! :) I might mention I have no tv, a factor which may change things, but I actually think that's a win too!
