Zv-1 can also shoot at 1000fps, and its only 700$, but only can record for a few seconds.

Cool short review. What i did not understand so good was: You said this camera has autofocus? Because there is no electronic connection between camera and lens..as far as i can see it.

no it doesn't have autofocus. the lens I bought would not focus even when you try it manually because the lens needs communication with the camera which it does't get. So it wouldn't focus at all. I kinda tricked it by unscrewing the lens until it was focus but its not ideal for sure.

@@sebpic so i have exactly the same setup like you ..50 mm 1.8..and all the other canon and sigma lenses..all lenses work fine..if i make the picture sharp manually on the lens its sharp..the only problem is when you would like to change the aputure from 1.8 to 4 for example..than you need a trick

Really? even with the lens fully screwed on? I can't get it to focus and I emailed them and they said it doesn't work with that lens.

@@sebpic i use the 50 mm 1.8 canon 100 euro the most time..but its the old one from 10 years ago..but all the other lenses are working as well...35 mm sigma art lens...100 mm macro canon...16-35 mm canon 4.0...24 mm- 100 mm canon...laowa 12 mm...

Point it at a blue sky and take at least 30 seconds of video at 1000fps. You will see black dots running around your screen. It's repeatable and they are not birds, bugs or swamp gas. They are going many thousands of miles per hour and so cannot be perceived by the naked eye but they cannot escape the high speed camera. I catch them all the time with my Samsung S20FE. They can turn on a dime as well.

Love my Chronos! I have the Rokinon cine lens and does wonder shots.! I did have to buy a cpl Aputure lights lol so you have to include that price with the camera lol thx for sharing ! Look me up on IG I have lots of videos of this camera on there thx
