I mean, this is great content as always and those shots are mindblowing but it feels as your videos are not for everyone anymore. It used to be my favorite channel cause it showed you (better than any other channel) how to do high quality videos at home with accesible things for everyone, but a $5000 camara and some crazy accessories in the past videos? At the same time, there are professional videographers, like me, who enjoy both the free, easy stuff, as well as the more pricey but useful gear, because we are willing to spend the money if it helps our business (and is also a tax write-off). I don't think all KZbinrs should have to only cater to the zero & smaller budget audiences. It's okay for KZbinrs to create content for both small and medium budget viewers to cover the whole range of their audience. Also, this video is obviously a camera review from the title and he is never misleading/clickbait or claims that it's cheap or anything. $5000 for 1000fps is an incredible deal compared to other cameras on the market.

When I shoot a commercial liquid shot, Baileys, whisky brands etc, I often hire in expensive 4k Phanton kit for pre shoot testing. This potentially is a perfect piece of kit to buy as the phantom is over 1k per day to rent. Thanks for sharing Daniel.

Love it! Always super enjoy your work my dude. Quick thought. The 180 shutter angle rule basically goes out the window when shooting high-speed. In fact with liquids & particulates it's often best to crank shutter speeds really high rather than aim for motion blur. I'll crank well into the ten thousandths of a second shutter sometimes when I need better detail. Even when just shooting 1000FPS.

Chronos cameras use C-mount (more specifically CS, which is just 5mm shorter in flange distance to C) which is commonly used in industrial cameras and formerly in 16mm cine cameras. You can find C-mount adapters for common lens mounts and by combining two adapters pretty much every lens could be used next to native C-mount lenses.

It's a really niche camera but for what it does, it looks great. Usually, more than 120 fps slow motion in top cameras looks really bad, sometimes even at 120 fps. This one looks great with 1000 fps in FHD.
