Oh my gosh I've been following you since I was a senior in high school and you were starting your freshman year at Brown. I ended up going to Duke and just graduated in May of 2022, so it's really cool to see that you're going to be attending medical school there! Your spec seems perfect: Brown, high mcat score, perfect gpa, research, and publication. What do you think is the reason that you are not admitted to other top schools like ivies, ucsf, standford, nyu, sinai, etc. I think they also had to accept you. Of course duke, u of m, and nwu are all top schools and duke is one of the best in us. I just wonder why. My daugther is applying to Brown this Fall and planning to do premed there if she is accepted. I'd be happy to have your answer. If you cannot answer here I can give you my email. Thanks. You said you published, so perhaps you just enjoy research that much; or maybe does having this research experience set you up to be competitive for residency applications?
