2023 update: Since this video Taylor had relapsed many times. She bullied and sent her followers to bully anyone who questioned her sobriety. She told people it’s okay to drink alcohol while freshly in sobriety and on. She then tried to get back with the “man” she speaks so poorly about after not being together for 2.5 years. When people found out all hell broke loose and people lost their minds. She then had taken a long break, got sober and happy to say Taylor is a year and a half sober! Recovery looks different for everyone, it’s hard as hell. So proud where she is today!

This was filmed a few years ago when she first came out about her addiction. She’s sadly struggled with staying sober since then. As of now, she claims to be sober for almost a year. I was addicted to opiates at her age too, and I had the same issues with relapsing after months of sobriety. Finally it just stuck and I’ve been sober for over a decade now. I think she’ll get it. Hopefully she won’t fall back again, but even if she does I think she’ll eventually stay sober. Opiates/heroin is the absolute worst drug and hard to quit.

It’s super inspiring to hear how long you’ve managed to be sober for. It’s such a tricky hole to get out of and for me personally, the black and white thinking of complete recovery or relapse has been detrimental because I always interpreted it like all or nothing. I was scared by the thought of abandoning my coping mechanism forever (especially since it was how I was controlling s***cial urges) and therefore didn’t want to even try to get better. Seeing it first through the lens of harm reduction and then all progress still counting as progress no matter how minor; like increasing the amount of time I went without my DOC, then managing a week, month or six months of general sobriety in one go. When i’d relapse my rule was to minimise as many of the risks as possible and put it down again the moment I have sufficient mental health support for it not to be integral to my survival. More clear cut recovery is still my goal but i’m trying to be proud of the steps i’ve taken instead of dismiss it as not enough
@FarmhouseFelts10 ай бұрын
@@dizzy_izzy_ohh realizing there’s a problem and knowing you need to do something about it I think it’s the biggest step of all, which you’re already half way there now. You’ll get to the point of where you want to be. I’ve met a lot of addicts over the years and the ones that seem to have the most success are the ones who are aware of their issues and keep trying no matter how many times they fall off. Self awareness is so important. My sister sadly became an addict and it’s going on 4 years now. She hasn’t come to that point of realizing she’s the only one who can turn it around and instead will blame anyone and anything else. Hopefully one day she will but I don’t know. Sounds like she had a bigger problem with stalkers and American based eco terrorist group, than heroin. For example, after thousands of U.S. citizens showed their dedication to fundamental human rights and went out in protest of the torture of detainees at Guantanamo Bay as an affront to human dignity...I apologized because I thought those members of Al-Qaeda deserved the death penalty. Its fairly clear everyone from John Stewart to the other fine citizens of Massachusetts agree that I'm in the wrong here. So I'm sorry that I believe in the death penalty and I'm sorry that I believe Al Qaeda members involved in the 9/11 Attacks should have been executed. The People of the United States have shown me the error of my ways and I admit that I was wrong and I'm sorry. Seriously though, watching the U.S. military gay gang rape and serially gay rape those POWS might have traumatized children and turned them as gay as the military personnel who did the gay raping. I just wasn't aware you wanted more gay children whose first gay experience was watching U.S. military personnel gay rape, gay gang rape, and serially gay rape Muslim POWS. I'm sorry. I was wrong. I didn't know you people wanted gay children. And I'm sorry for believing that people guilty of mass murder deserved the penalty. I truly wish I could have supported the U.S. military and it's personnel who sexually abused these POWS for years while shooting those videos, and promise to make every attempt to support the U.S. military in these endeavors in the future.

True story: I met Jonny Craig once. His band were playing in my hometown (sort of, nearby), and my band were the main support. We were more fans of DGD than Slaves but we needed the exposure, and my drummer was a big Jonny Craig fan. Nothing really happened that was all that serious, but the guy was a little out of it. Nothing shocking to any of us, we were all fucked up, too. But, halfway through his band's set he started screaming at the audience telling them to "fucking start moving" or he was "going home". He didn't go home, but he did angrily tweet about the Plymouth, UK show for like two days after lol. He didn't realise that he was playing in a total deadzone. He must have been accustomed to very different types of crowds. TL:DR; Jonny Craig is a little bit delusional.

So I was a heroin addict for ten years. I literally felt as though she was describing my own relationship with my ex. Minus the part where I stayed clean after breaking up. I wish I could say that but I can’t. I also wish I had gotten out as soon as she did. I wasted 7 years of my youth on a man that would always love heroin more than me. It’s a losing battle. I used to think “but I’m on heroin and I’m still capable of loving him and caring about him”. Some people are just wired differently. It was always a losing battle. I created an environment where he was completely dependent on me financially (stripping which he didn’t care about either) so that he couldn’t leave me. I was so afraid to get clean because I knew when I did he would leave and I would have to face the fact that he never truly loved me. I preferred living a lie until I couldn’t anymore. The sick thing is there is a part of you that will always love them and crave the day they can love you back. But you have to learn to love yourself instead. Easier said than done but just know you aren’t alone and not to beat yourself up.

He loved heroin more than me. Always. Never said it was his fault I was an addict. Also the term “junkie” is degrading. Not to me but to you. It shows how ill informed you are of the disease of addiction and someone as narcissistic as yourself would never want your ignorance to show ;) I made all of those decisions of my own free will. I chose to stay with a man that could never truly love me. I chose to live a lie. I chose to put a needle in my arm. Just like she did. The feelings that went behind those decisions however are very similar. Notice how almost every sentence in there starts with “I”. Because I did all those things. Not him. I was simply stating my personal pain of dating a heroin addict that would always choose the drug over me.

@annataymond95294 жыл бұрын
Roy_Thousand, it’s not quite that simple. Sure there are people in both situations that don’t really have anyone to blame besides themselves, but that’s true for a lot of injuries and illnesses. Some people aren’t educated enough to know better, some people were so young when they were exposed to drugs they couldn’t have been expected to make an intelligent decision. And with obesity, part of that is genetic, and isn’t as easy to avoid as you might think. Especially if you were obese as a child when it was your parents who taught you and controlled your habits.

@@nafisaali291 he introduced her to opiates but it was pain pills and then awhile later after they both had been on the pain pills is when she found him using a spoon to cook in the bathroom and he talked her into shooting heroin. She didn't go from never doing opiates straight to shooting heroin. She was already a opiate addict with pain pills but kept lying to herself saying it wasn't a problem cause they were prescription medications so how bad could they be as she said this video.

Can't understand how people could say she abuses animals. You can see how clean their tanks are, how stress free the reptiles are, and the love her mammals have for her.

She said it herself
@instantlyblank77004 жыл бұрын
Just because the tanks are clean doesn't mean they aren't abused! 1) She is known for impulse buying new reptiles and often doesn't do enough research before hand to the point where she mistakenly called her lizard the wrong breed. 2) Her reptiles (especially her fish) are always becoming sick and having to be treated only to live not very long after. 3) She is constantly moving houses and bring her animals with her, last time I checked she was living in a 2 bedroom apartment...with all those animals. 4) Another reason for moving was she was once kicked out of her old housing because her landlord complained about an "aggressive monitor lizard" 5) She has most of her pets in one room which is a huge fire hazard and the electrics could over heat...oh wait that ALREADY HAPPENED! A blackout caused some heating pads to malfunction so her Pac-Man frog and two crocodile skinks were cooked alive. 6) She has lied before about the death of some of her pets for example Gus was a mice that she rescued from being snake food (ironic) but one day her king snake Gucci escaped from their enclosure. Taylor post on Twitter or something saying she found Gucci in Gus cage with Gus no where to be seen (implying the snake ate gus) but later deleted that post and said in a video that Gus died of old age. 7) ALOT of her pets has died and she often doesn't mention it so sometimes she'll show an animal in one video and we'll never see it again, it's usually only when people comment asking what happened will she mention it died. 8) Someone literally made a Microsoft spreadsheet detailing ALL of her animals, most of the deceased animals never even reached adulthood and there and around 20 unaccounted animals that probably dead or was (hopefully) rehomed. KZbinrs like Whatever and Mike Dane have made videos detailing everything wrong and have evidence for it so I'd advise checking it out. (If I accidentally got some details wrong sorry)

No way you can be strung out on heroin and take care of tons of animals too. You only see what she wants you to see too. The tanks are probably clean when she first gets them and the new animals she was constantly buying. Doesn't mean they were maintained that great.

I love how I knew it was Johnny Craig right away. He grew up around Sacramento where I’m from, and I have friends that are mutual friends with the guy. The love people had for Johnny slowly died the more he delved into drugs and for most people who he was is just a sad memory. I do hope he gets help and I’m also glad this girl got away from him. What he did wasn’t okay, and him being on drugs isn’t an excuse to drag her down with him.

To those commenting that she relapsed a lot after this video, that’s part of recovery. Yes that’s not an excuse for her actions but as someone who is part of the support system of someone who recently got sober, relapses happen. my partner was addicted to substances for about 2 years (I discouraged it but as we both have a past of abusive relationships we don’t dictate what we do and don’t do but just encourage safety at least) his dad and best friend were his enablers. When he finally had a wake up call to get sober he had 2 small relapses in the first month. Since then he’s had no relapses. His best friend has stayed sober with him and his dad, well is at arms length and knows not to make contact when he’s on substances. Most people become addicts because of someone they know exposing them to it, then they do it together, that’s why relapsing is common and almost part of the process. Now this doesn’t mean relapses are ok but it means they shouldn’t be ridiculed for relapsing and should instead be reminded why they are getting sober. If someone gives into the addiction and each time they relapse they say “screw it I’ve already relapsed might as well do more” that’s when sobriety is honestly not gonna be maintained, they need to have a relapse and say “dammit I’m an idiot I’m done with this” and not do more just because they’ve already relapsed so might as well. After the first relapse my partner rinsed his nose out (cocaine) because he realised what he was doing, the second was his best friend convinced him to do it one last time and stay sober from there (that one I wasn’t happy about but I know his friend who help him stay sober after that as his friend was just doing it casually). One last note, those with mental health or who are neurodivergent are more likely to relapse frequently due to poor impulse control.
