You're surprisingly engaging. There are dozens of KZbinrs out there with video effects, music, professional editing and tens of thousands dollars of equipment who cannot hold my attention as well as you. If you spruce up your videos just a bit, I think you have something here.

🙌🙌🙌 Thanks! I actually have dumbed my videos down recently in an effort to make more haha When it's less clips/easier to edit it's much more motivating for me to edit and upload. I've actually got lots of videos I shelved because they were taking too long just to edit etc... And I was never quite happy with the results. I do want to make more and keep things simple.

@@new_spin When you've only got yourself, I completely agree. Videos can take hours, literally over 24 hours, to edit. My channel is full of failed videos, and all of them required between 12 and 30 hours to edit. I put a lot of _effort_ into them, even a decent amount of skill, but not a ton of "know-how." Not that you asked for advice, but here's the only tip I think I know that 's relevant to you: Focus. When in doubt, say less, explain less, not more. Know what your video's beats are, hit 'em and keep moving. That's not to say your video needs to be fast-paced, that's not the point. The point is to not start meandering. We all have a tendency to think we haven't quite made our point yet when in reality the listener understands what we mean long before we're done explaining and re-explaining! Determine your main talking points, maybe consider how you're going to deliver those points, and then try to stick to them and keep things moving, ideally resulting in minimal editing but a video that still has a sense of continuous _progression._ As a novelist I can tell you that a sense of progression is terribly important. Whether you're writing a chapter, a page, a paragraph or a sentence, you should always be setting up a point, delivering a point, or throwing out a twist to one of your previous points that paints it in a new light. O.K., I'm done. Keep making videos, my guy. That's one other point I guess I can tell you. ABI: Always Be Improving. There are guys out here who start out excellent, never improve, and eventually accrue a decent following, but they never achieve true greatness because their progress stagnates. Then there are guys like me. I started out with some spark of talent, but nothing more than that. Every single quality I have was a bitter struggle to acquire, but eventually I'll surpass those "naturally good" creators because I'll never cease improving my craft. Don't be satisfied. If you want to do videos like this because they're quicker and you can put out more, that's fine, but resolve to do them better and better. Not different. You don't need any more fancy editing, but you determine that you'll make the greatest single-take, lightly-edited videos involving a guy talking about his car that have ever been put out. And you will. Let me just get off this soap box. Godspeed!
