i got banned today for "botting". Im on vacation and was 6days farming winterspring for arcane crystals never used programs. I was on Hunter using EagleEye to scout spots. Blizzard is just randomly banning people with AI and player Reports guess time to quit.

I was banned long ago because all I had done for about a week was sell stonescale eels. It was simple easy gold just fishing in my hiding spot on a pvp server while listening to podcasts. They wouldn't tell me why I was banned, but the reason was obvious. Someone ASSUMED I was botting cause of how many stonescales I had been selling, and some GM agreed with them.

I went for an appeal and this was an actual response from the diversity and wokeness department... i mean the "player support SPECIALIST" : " I can totally understand your intention was not to offend anyone by these words but we never know if our word can hurt someone's sentiments." So he admited right there that I had ZERO intention to hurt anyone by saying the most notorious MONEY sound, but someone out there not in the game may have had their sentiments hurt because he may interpret it as a racial slur if he changed some words around. This is what gaming has become : meanie words are worth permanent bans, but bots ruining the game, hacks, cheats, etc. are not high there on their list. I was told my account will NOT be appealed. I tried to argue with respect and logic and this was the response : "Since we've already given you all the available information on the topic, we will have to close the ticket because we have already let you know what our point of view is on the points you've brought up and we don't want to annoy you with repeating the same things over and over." Online gaming industry is pretty much ruined by either wokeness and/or min-max parsing individuals gatekeepers.

Na. Real classic is super boring. Insanely easy. No mechanical skill. Almost no abilities actively pressed. It has it's place. And guess what. Most of the population dosent like original classic. It's why they actively choose to play anything but it. The pve is unbalanced. The pvp is unbalanced. Few to no active abilities. Low skill expression.(it's more about cheese, using items, ect) than being better than your opponent in mechanical skill or quick thinking. The raid bosses have 1-2 mechanics at most. And these mechanics are literally made for people with 15 iq. Summary: the time investment is too massive for such a small amount of player skill, most encounters being stat checks, pvp being mostly cheese, or 1 sided in all ways, low amount of mechanical ability required, no fun/challenge in defeating bosses because they're made for people with DS. The game is easy. But for some reason takes 30 years to do anything. So people leave.
