A normal shovel you can get from nooks cranny has 100 uses before breaking. I just kinda guess when I need to like customize the shovel again. If I’ve been using it a lot that’s typically when I go to reset the durability

I 100% agree with you about video length. I know that a video is good when its over an hour long. I will consistently watch videos that are 2-3 hours long. before 2020, you couldn't find me watching a video that was more than 30 minutes long.

Please read this i know it long but i feel like it would be an interesting topic in your vids and i would like to know your opinion on it This is going to be my guess for the next game. So the game would start with you and tom nook in a plane. And tom nook is saying “we now finished the new horizon island. I have a new task for you in my old town that I own. I kinda abandoned them. So do you accept this new challenge”. Then you land in the town of new leaf but it all run down and you have to rebuild it all again. This town will be like the mainland. Then instead of villager hunting you will like have to send a newsletter to the villagers. You either can choose the specific animal species or just do it randomly form any animal species. So we still have control but not too much. Then like after you finish this island you will move to city folk town and rebuild that. Then on the new leaf town you will have the main street but you have to unlock all the shops and you have to convince the NPCs like the able sisters and like the older NPCs to move into them and you can help them to design it.

Went on a rant here, but still feels right: I wanna know why Nintendo has such a recurring problem of putting So Much detail and effort into a thing, only to completely fumble at the end. Like the museum, they put an insane amount of detail into the museum, it's beautiful! But it's Nothing! You don't get Anything for completing it. The donate button doesn't even disappear!! Blathers doesn't even acknowledge that you finished it! It's so disappointing after months, some of us years, of work! Like... what's the point? 😐😐😮‍💨

In 2020 I definitely was playing animal crossing like crazy. I have over 1000 hours now, but it’s been 3 years. So it’s least kept my attention that long. I also have two switches and two islands. I just feel like they could’ve improved a few things. It’s a pretty game, but we needed more gameplay. Hopefully they next game is an improvement from ACNH.

Honestly I’m so happy that longer videos come back to KZbin. Or do better again. Before tiktok, I think around 2013 till like 2016 or something the videos were actually always longer. LP’s channels were doing so good. But then the algo changed probably bc of tiktok and its impact and ppl preferred shorter videos. That was the time a lot of channels that play games stopped posting play throughs and started playing games for like one episode. And it’s still like that, so I would love for it to go back to that longer video format. Like 15- 20 minutes should go back to the minimum (of course depending the content)

I've never reset, but I do have 2 switches/islands. My first 2020 island has been flattened fully twice, and changed theme probably 5-6 times doing a more bit-by-bit method lol. My second island has only had 1 iteration, but I'm ready to change it up soon!

I recently just started over, and cuz idk what theme to use or what media to base it off of, I named the character ‘me’ (with a bonus of making some confusing/funny dialogue) and the island “Hyperfix”, as in Hyperfixation, so that I’m not forced to stick to a certain theme, and I can always redecorate it based on my current media Hyperfixation (plus it kinda sounds space-y and I love space) I’ve met some cute villagers so far, and my first 3 Nook Ticket villagers were all super cute, at least to me, so I’m happy! (I have Flo and Rowan, the others are Nana, Dizzy, and Tabby, who I see as cute in a goofy cartoony way) I love the diversity so far!

talking about how long it takes to make new games now. looking at the new pokemon game i reaaaally wish that they take their time xd and also talking about talking xd ppl say that theres too few dialogue but i dont think so. for example you dont have every type of villagers on your island because you plan ahead so idk you never have a jock villager or something, then youll never eperience that dialouge. or i dont have any amiibos and i tried one of a friend of mine, there must be sooo many sentences people without amiibo cards will never get to see. also people without happy home paradise but ig thats a bad example because not everyone wants to fully customize their (villagers) house/s? and also its not really a part of the game thats why ig thats a bad example yknow. a german youtuber talked about nostalgia some days ago and he is completely right: i really hope the next animal crossing game wont be too nostalgic because thatll mean that its almost the same. having nostalgia when seeing a villager or their houses, tim n tommy thats fine but entering a game and getting over the top nostalgic must mean that almost everything is the same.
