Any residual no wake signs are not aloud and definitely not enforced. But they have to keep that invite to come to that lake next year gotta not have a bunch of mad homeowners that y'all are there. Lol You will get the next one. Keep that head up you are one of the greats of the sport that really studies your equipment and knows how to read what it's telling you. All those guys that buys that high dollar equipment and throw away the book first thing and go to the lake to figure it out. @@dnunley423 a lot of fish caught with baits that have multiple treble hooks are hooked on the outside of the mouth. I'd say it happens around 30% of the time. No one fishes for bedding bass with moving baits such as cranks, jerks, or topwaters, it's usually done with soft plastics and a single hook. Sure it's a gray area and that particular rule could be manipulated, but anyone with a little common sense knows the difference .

F the appeals process this is the reason why all anglers should band together and form a fishing league run for us By us. I'm not an angler but I love watching fishing videos and enjoy fishing and only have been fishing maybe two times in my life and I'm 47 but any way back to the fishing league ran for us by us. You guys spend insane money on entry fees, fuel , places to stay and if you win you get a 100,000$ check and second gets 30,000 and on down to 10,000 . My question is where does all the entry fee money go. All the anglers should start 1 pro fishing league for us by us and cut out the middle man . All sponsors will come with the anglers in this day and age the angler is more valuable than the league but it's not being ran like that. Trust and believe if all the top anglers in the world band together start a pro league trust me anglers will start fishing for 500,000 to win a tournament and 50,000 to finish in the money. The fishing industry is that popular you guys no longer need Bass or the MLF tour why so the CEOs of those leagues can make all the money c'mon guys band together.

I’m not sure a union would work in fishing. The rosters are always in flux and the dues are expensive. Unions are designed for larger groups of workers that don’t leave. They generally make similar money and work in similar conditions. A fisherman is an independent contractor who files 1099. You don’t have an organization to unionize, the company is not providing benefits. I think what you are seeking is oversight or an avenue for appeals. I get it. Look at football, they have all that, but at the end of the day whatever Goodell decides is law. I would steer clear of “fishing politics.”

I coauthored a paper about pro competitive angling for my sports law class and its wild how little protections you all have from seemingly arbitrary decisions by tournament/directors. Arbitrary in the sense that enforcement of rules is inconsistent and sthe rules themselves change rapidly. As ben said yall have no procedural protections. I never took labor law but I know you have to be an employee to unionize and that has a legal definition you’d have to satisfy which im not gonna analyze on yt. *thats not legal advice, yall should chip in and hire a labor lawyer for real.
