When I got Covid and was feeling so bad, my boss wanted me to drive myself to the hospital. I couldn’t hardly get out of bed to go to the bathroom let alone drive myself to the hospital. I just stayed home and isolated from my family. They would put food and drinks outside my door. Feel better Asagi!

COVID can be a tough array of symptoms. Folks making it hard on other folks for getting sick is counterproductive. We can’t control a disease, if we could they wouldn’t exist, and Covid wouldn’t have traveled around the world. Introspection is important, please be sure to contemplate on yourself and decide what is truly best for your future wellbeing. Glad you got through the Covid and feeling better. Take care Asagi.

Don't worry too much about it. Headaches, loss of concentration, fatigue and loss of smell may take a few weeks to pass, but you'll be fine. Just make yourself as comfortable as possible and wait it out.

Sending you all the well wishes & positive vibes Asagi! I got COVID back in November & I'm still dealing with after effects from it. I can't workout like I used to without getting really winded & even light headed. I even breathe heavy after carrying my laundry basket up the stairs. It can be a little scary sometimes. Hang in there!

When I got a variant recently, I got post viral syndrome afterwards, causing indolence. I felt very isolated. No one likes lethargy, and there were no other big deal symptoms except headaches. The isolation was from having no symptoms to generate sympathy, so I started to feel alone in the suffering. I thank God Jesus promises to be by our side at all times, and constant prayer and understanding from God got me through. Even now, 2 months later, I feel Covid buried deep in my lungs, hiding and momentarily resurfacing.

Your family sounds a little bit like mine, but not as bad as telling me to go to a hotel. Now that I have it, it's more annoying that it happened right before my trip. I also kind of had that sad feeling at night, I got worried and I had texted my fiance in Japan and she called me to keep me company for a while until I fell asleep. I'm so lucky to have her honestly because this virus can make you worry a lot. Just keep thinking positive is the only thing I can do.

I'm happy that you have already felt the symptoms less bother you and your fever was gone. The bright side is once you are totally recovered, you are fully naturally immunized and protected. It's ok you can't go outside but you can open the curtain and seat by the sunshine that would provide you good vitamin D to energize you. Get well soon 🙏😊

Hopefully, everything will be ok for you Asagi! My daughter is due to fly out to the UK on the 16th, but told me yesterday that she was diagnosed with COVID-19 only just yesterday. She's experiencing a multitude of symptoms, with back pain being the absolute worst, along with loss of sleep because of the pain. So yes, COVID-19 is not to be taken lightly or thunken as a joke, as symptoms can be quite bad in certain people. I hope you get better Asagi!

Personally having Covid was unpleasant both times, but I was very fortunate to not have the severe symptoms others have had. I mainly slept and kept my fluids up while trying to eat and take any vitamins available. It only took days each time to fully get over it and I think you can too. Ganbatte!

Glad you are getting better as it seemed in your live stream...When I got covid it was in the beginning of the pandemic and I was sick for 2 full months couldnt work do anything..I was riding 125 miles a week on my rode bike and riding my flatland bike before..I have never been so sick..it was so crazy..It messed me up in so many ways...I feel it was a whole year if not 2 until I felt properly healthy again to my previous levels..I lost 20lbs. If I ate it came right out of course couldnt taste or smell anything that was super bizarre. At the worst before it seemed like fever broke I was like convulsing for like 3 days where I kind of thought Id die and then woke up and the fever was finally gone after 2 full months..I had no help at all for 2 months..Someone was suppose to help but they chose not to..So i feel for you being semi alone...

The fatigue is very real. I nursed my wife through covid, it was mostly me feeding her and her resting and sleeping all day because she was so tired. Didn't get it myself even though I honestly only took minimal precautions. There seems to be a lot of good/bad luck involved in transmission so I don't think people should blame themselves or others. Hope you get well soon !

Btw as a healthcare representative, try to increase your micronutrients and antioxidants...think zinc, magnesium, vitamin D; antioxidants help with the healing process, try 100% tart cherry juice...best source of antioxidants. And most importantly, please eat... COVID-19 kills your appetite. Sleep and stay hydrated with good water.

Hey Asagi, hang in there. I went through it as well. A few things that helped were : put a towel over your head and use a humidifier for blocked nose. keep eating (as you mentioned) Get whatever fresh air you can get - Don't stay closed up. And then just the meds that work for you. for me it was Naproxen that helped me sleep but they advise paracetamol generally for safer pain alliviation. 10 days were worst I've ever had, took 2 months to recover to a somewhat normal point. That was Delta variant mind you. Sending you my best wishes.

Kinda depressed about how your parents were, especially your father. this past week hasn't been easy for me with having covid, trying to find cold medicine was not easy. Every place I looked at for things just didn't have anything on the shelves it was very strange. Going through something like this alone does suck, I felt every word of that when you talked about that in the day 4.

I hope you can quickly get into a hospital. If it gets worse or if you have any risk factors (asthma etc), then persistently ask the doctor for Pfizer's Paxlovid medicine (this was approved in February of this year in Japan). I'm sorry to hear about your mom's reaction -- the media plus the initially unknown effects of COVID has made a lot of people panic and a bit paranoid.
